We moved over 400 recipes from WordPress to the RecipeKit app. A lot has changed, and some things we had before are no longer there. But the RecipeKit team has been incredibly helpful in adapting the app to our needs. They respond to us on a very individual basis and react very quickly. We are now very happy with the app. A big thumbs up to the team.

Recipe Kit keeps getting better and better. When I moved to Shopify, my first goal was to find a recipe app for my food blog. Seriously, the app is so good. It's easy to use, makes your recipes look cleaner and so pretty. It is worth every penny to grab the app for you site. Another bonus, if you need help, support is quick to respond. I also love how they keep adding more amazing features to make my recipes pop for the readers. I highly recommend Recipe Kit!

The software itself is impressively stable in day-to-day use, but at present it lacks built-in support for localization because it doesn’t adhere to Shopify’s Dev recommendations for language functions. As a result, you cannot translate the interface out of the box, which is a significant drawback if you need a multilingual storefront.

Maintaining recipes in the system is also laborious. On numerous occasions, we found that recipes suddenly lost their links to ingredients, forcing us to manually comb through every single recipe entry to repair the connections. This isn’t a one-off glitch—it happens often enough that it disrupts workflow and eats up valuable time.

When we raised this issue with support, we were bluntly told it isn’t currently a priority. In other words, if you don’t mind wrestling with a buggy workflow and spending hours on manual fixes, this software will serve you. Otherwise, be prepared for frustration.

We really like using this app to feature recipes that use our products. It's cool that we're able to link to the products directly in the ingredients list. It's nice and easy to import a lot of recipes at once.

We have been on another eCommerce platform previously and never liked our recipe options. When moving to Shopify we were hoping to find a good recipe app as recipe section is important to give our customers suggested uses for our products. I have to say I am very happy with Recipe Kit! The support is top notch, as we were learning Shopify, they helped us make sure everything was installed correctly. Any time I have any issues, they are there to support me. Thanks and I can't say enough good things about the developer and this app!
