STAY AWAY! SHADY AS HELL! They make ads on your post purchase page for booking.com and other ridiculous affiliate sites without you knowing!!!
They just added this function secretly and activated it for all users. If you want to deactivate it you need to go in the settings and find this secret option! Just found out when I made a test order for my store by accident!!
If this affected your store as well, please contact me! This behavior violate EU laws, and I’m exploring legal options. Open to joining forces if others are impacted!

If you want to make more money immediately on at least 1/3 of your orders right out of the gates, give this app a shot. Great team, with a quick response to help tweak our offers. Can't recommend enough - especially if you have a big catalog and repeat buyers.

This app has been great for us. It increased our AOV by 20% on average without affecting our conversion rate. It’s pretty much our go to upsell app and we’ve been using it since 2022. We tried about 4 or 5 other apps since then, and this is the one that stuck.

BEWARE - THEY USE YOUR CHECKOUT PAGE AS THEIR AD FARM.
When I found out about it from an upset customer, I contacted Shopify and they identified the issue was Reconvert showing their ads on our website.
When I contacted Reconvert, they stated that yes they do and it's a "feature". I never accepted this - ads were being shown without our consent or knowledge.
We lost significant brand trust.
On top of that, it was not worth the cost. Reconvert rarely resulted in sales and never paid for itself.
It turned out to be a liability in every way.

Be aware! This app charges based on how many orders you made and it doesn't matter what sales channel or if the upsell is displayed at all. For 2 months I was selling a lot at live events using Point of Sale when I sold things myself and their app was never used but yet those orders counted toward my total order count and they charged me for the highest tier £19.76 for 2 months. This pricing is a rip off and doesn't make sense.

They just randomly charged me $1299.99 for absolutely no reason. This is an emergency as it now stops me from purchasing shipping labels. UPDATE: It wasn't "random" but was a mistake - basically I imported a bunch of orders into the app which generated a large "usage" charge as their system couldn't differentiate a live order from an old order.
UPDATE: The team was quick to refund the charge. I was messed up for several hours because a "failed bill" in Shopify blocked our ability to purchase shipping labels. The good news is twofold: they fixed the problem (reversed the charge) and they also implemented a fix to the original problem (a "sanity check" that's triggered if a large number of orders are suddenly generated out of the blue.
I've updated my star rating to 4 stars because they've fixed that problem for future customers. Still not going to lie - being down for several hours messed us up quite a bit and stressed me out needlessly, but I do give mad respect to people who fix their mistakes!
