We had some issues setting up the post-purchase feature, but the ReConvert team was incredibly helpful. Avraham, the Director of Customer Success, jumped on a video call with me and patiently walked through everything until it was resolved. Excellent support and service!

I had hired a marketing team that would only work with this app. I'm no longer working with them and am figuring how to edit and update my flow in here on my own.
Riya in customer support was super helpful and responsive, making sure I got all my questions answered.
I'm still playing with the structure of these upsells, as it's a very different setup than OCU, which is what I was using before.
I like how this looks and it seems like they'd convert really well, so I'm giving it another go!

Upon initially downloading the app, we did see a good amount of upsells. However, lately there seems to have been updates with either Shopify, or ReConvert that is making the app not worth the price.
The app also no longer applies a shipping cost for one click upsells. So we've had issues with customers not being charged enough shipping for the products they add during the check out upsell process. What we've had to absorb in additional shipping fees, doesn't make the app worth it. (We've also reached out to support and there wasn't much help/explanation offered).

It’s great to hear ReConvert drove solid upsell results at the start. We completely understand how frustrating it is to lose margin due to shipping miscalculations, and we should’ve done more to help when you reached out. The truth is, some of this may be down to Shopify's own platform, but I'm happy to look into this for you.
We’d love the chance to review this properly with you, especially as Shopify has made ongoing changes to the post-purchase checkout that may affect how shipping behaves with upsells. If you’re open to it, we’ll investigate the issue fully, walk you through any limitations or fixes, and make sure you’re not left covering the cost for something avoidable.

They emailed customers today and said their free plan is going away and they're automatically charging people in a few days.
"We're discontinuing the free plan and automatically transitioning all free users to a paid plan..."
That's slimy.
It's one thing to have a paying customer and do a price increase, fine.
It's another to take a free customer and start charging them when they never agreed to a fee when signing up.
Paying for products and services, of course; suddenly changing a business model and modifying an account without the customer's consent seems fraudulent.
The decent thing: allow free users to grandfather their current setup and if they so choose, they can upgrade their membership. Going in and suddenly taking money from them -- customers, start filing chargebacks and fraud claims.

Uninstalled as it broke my Facebook "purchase" tracking (the most important thing to track period). The upsell page failed to render 4 out of 5 times I manually tested due to code bug. My Facebook tracking also did not run the times this app failed. Once I disabled this app my Facebook tracking worked again.
If you install this app keep an eye on your Facebook conversion numbers and make sure they agree with Shopify every day. if they are off by a large amount do a few real purchases and see if post-purchase page is broken.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear this, and we understand the frustration - especially when tracking and ROAS are impacted. As soon as this was flagged, we escalated it internally with top urgency: our CEO, product manager, and dev team were all involved within the hour. We requested store access and a test order code to reproduce the issue, but unfortunately, this was not granted.
To be clear, we prioritised this report, dropped other work, and made every effort to resolve it. Without access, we’re unable to confirm whether the issue stemmed from our code, a theme or third-party conflict, or a Shopify rendering fault.
Despite the review, we’ve made a very fair offer to make things right - conditional only on reinstallation and access to debug. Please allow us the opportunity to fix this, as we were in the process of doing.
We take incidents like this very seriously and are committed to transparency and accountability.

I guess it was a heavier task for the team (Shopify Plus checkout).
