You should say this app doesn't work in other countries, but USA.
So dissapointed
So there are mostly good reviews here but there are some not so good. reality is that every business is different and what works for one might not for the other. doesn't mean the App or service doesn't work.
for us the app has worked great. there is an adjustment period but returns emails and phone calls is way down to 7% of what it was. also on the phone our customers used to ask us to pay the return label and would get upset and use the charge-back card if we did not agree. Returnly lets them create the label and lets them know what will be deduct from their refund to cover the ship back label cost. we have only had 1 phone call from a customer who did not want to pay this.
finally. this was the only app or service that we found that is build to get the customer to EXCHANGE instead of return. if you have the customers money why would you be so quick to just accept a return for a refund before trying an exchange.
so far so good returnly. keep it UP
What a great app. It does all the messy work for you. Plus it makes the entire return process so easy for the customer! A definite MUST HAVE!
Initial UI was a bit problematic on install and caused us some delays.
The R team was quick to help and follow up was indeed strong.
Have not used the app yet but will report back when we do.

Don't recommend. Slow support. No phone support. $150 a month if you want to use your own shipping account!? Way overpriced for what it is worth.
I didn't realize you can only return one item from you purchase with the basic version of this app and ended up loosing a customer because the process was too frustrating. The limit on the features for the basic pricing makes the basic price plan pointless.
App is great! Saves so many hours of customer service time. The only thing that I would suggest is giving more customization options. We also would like to be able to do a separate time allotment for refunds versus exchanges. I would love to be able to change the length of time depending on the items types. Also I would like detailed tracking information when I click on the tracking number. Having the option for customers to message through the app would be awesome as well. Overall, a very good app. I can't wait to see what they will do with it in the future.
Loving the Returnly app! Our customers used to have to wait for customer service to respond with return authorizations. Now they can do it themselves. We also get more valuable return reason information that we can share with our design/production and sales staff. Super easy to set up and customize what you need. Have already recommended it to several colleagues.
This app is a time saver and makes processing returns and exchanges easy for both shop owners and customers. It also shows you when items are in transit back to you which is great. I would give it 5 starts but for the following:
1. Would like the ability to charge customers for returns that are not our fault while at the same time paying for returns that are our fault. Right now you have to do one or the other, you can not do both depending on the reason for the return.
2. Would like the ability to customize the returns page with my own wording and instructions/explanations
3. If doing an exchange, there is no way to get paid for the cost of label sending the items back. The app tells the customer what is costs, but does not have a way for them to pay. If doing a return, you can deduct the cost of the label from the amount you refund them. But if an exchange, you are not refunding money, you are sending a new item out so there is no money to deduct from and Shopify does not let you recharge a credit card (you would have to invoice them somehow separately)
4. Would love to be able to mark additional statuses in this such as (refund issued, AND/OR replacement shipped etc)
5. This is pricey especially considering you also have the cost of the shipping labels and returns/exchanges on top of this high monthly fee (the fee does not include postage). But unfortunately so far this is a only app I have found that also creates the labels for customers which is a time saver. It is very expensive though for what it does
Returnly is a great experience for us and our customers.
Implementation was simple and the team at Returnly has been responsive and helpful.
I recommend Returnly to all Shopify businesses.
