After more than a year as a customer, we find out that our account has been deactivated without warning so they could change the pricing model, no longer offering a "pay-per-use" service but requiring a minimum monthly fee of $200 instead. How is it that current blog resources on their live site, advertised pricing information provided through the Shopify app store, and app reviews as recently as 2 weeks ago all still promote this 'no-longer-supported' pricing plan?
Albeit we are a very small customer for them (only sending the few orders per quarter that we are pretty confident are fraudulent as a last step before canceling/refunding them)...it's disappointing that we've continued to receive bi-monthly emails from Riskified about their services and industry updates, yet they would fail to mention in any form of communication to us these changes in pricing, and also forget to notify us that we are no longer their customer.
How did we find out about the deactivation? Attempted to submit an order for review and found the password has been changed and can't be reset.
So they need more money for their services -- we get it. The new pricing plan might even make sense for us after some consideration, but the implementation (account deactivation?!) was poorly thought through and not a good indicator of what we can expect as a customer moving forward.
Anybody else experiencing this recently? This is an unexpected bummer.
This is such a great app, really helped us out with our charge-back issues and saved us tons of time
The worst app ever. First I was invited to use this app by the Riskified.com. After a short time of using they have asked for credit card details. I have inserted all the details and I have continued to continue the app. Yesterday when I tried to login in to my Dashboard I was unable, saying: "Incorrect email or password" and I never changed any details. I tried to contact the Riskified team few times and no answer. Now I'm very worried about my bank details I left in the hand of this people. I will contact the Shopify team to get future help!
Dear Shopify users be aware when you use this app and when you will be prompted to give your bank/credit card details.

AVOID AT ALL COST! This is a scam app. They will deny every claim you have. They are not located in the United States, they just want your money! It doesn't matter if a customer files a chargeback and you have proof they received the product with tracking and delivery confirmation... Riskified will deny you. I have been paying them an average of $250.00 a month and they have denied all 3 chargebacks I've had.... if you want to just give away your money... get this app!!!
This is a must have service for anyone selling high priced items and doesn't have significant volume. One $3,000 fraudulent purchase that we miss would hurt our bottom line.
The only downside is that it is difficult to tell how conservative Riskified's assessment system is. We have already been declined for a few high value sales. We are in a business with customers that are more likely to do things like try to hide their identity. It would be a shame if we missed out on some high value sales, but it's not worth the risk.
Update: After I left this review, a rep contacted me and I spoke to them for a while about their system. While it still is difficult to get a good feel thus far as to my experience with their service, their customer service was really good and responsive.

ATTENTION: Stay away from this Israel based company! This is is a real bad example of a company promising a lot and generating a lot of positive feedbacks, but when it comes to reality they keep nothing!!!
Here our story:
(1) We had several contacts Riskified BEFORE considering going with that company and installing that app. They always want to call you on get you quickly in the boat. We insisted on written information to have something in the hand in case things would not work out as promised! It took already several rounds to get even a clear PRICE information, a big drawback already at the start, where other fraud protecting company's are clear right from the beginning! But finally we were set and made made the decision to go with them.
(2) Installation is easy BUT then the next big hammer: They want your credit card info during the set up and that via an UNSUPPORTED and UNSECURE pop-up window, which was automatically blocked by our PC Internet Security Software - God sake!! That completely damaged our TRUST in that company: How can a fraud protection supplier want to have your own credit card information over dubious connections?? Would you trust such a company?
(3) We immediately contacted the company several times over the next 24 hours: NO response at all! We called our first contact: He pormised to clarify the situation and never came back. All subsequent phone calls were blocked (on purpose). We do not want to image what would have happened with such a partner in case of a real urgent fraud??
(4) We finally received an email stating that due to Riskified's checks they would not be able to offer us their service LOL!!! That's how that company treats critical customer, OOHHHAAA.
Summary: We can just recommend to every new store: Stay away from these guys and choose a more reliable partner.
We finally went over to their direct competitor Sign.... and what a difference: All questions answered in 30 minutes, easy install and a SECURE link for the credit card info upload; that's how it has to be!!! Service meqans zero fraud liability (insurance) for slightly more than at R. (for 1% instead of 0.7%), but clear, honest and so far reliable.
We fianlly are happy to dealwith a trust-worthy partner, who by the way informed us, that our first shot seems to not take any new customer in 2015 anymore at all; Surprise ....
Great App! has saved me plenty of times and the customer service is excellent.
