How Package Tracking Works

When Route is installed, package tracking is automatically implemented. Instantly bring tracking to life with beautiful, immersive web and mobile experiences for any shoppers who use the Route app, even if they didn’t add protection to their order.

Merchants can customize their unique brand profile and add branded content to shipping notifications. Increase customer engagement, meet customer expectations, and keep shoppers informed as their purchases go from fulfillment to doorstep.

How Green Package Protection Works

Once Route is installed on your store, customers will be able to add Green Package Protection against loss, theft, and damage right on the checkout page.

Route then calculates the carbon emissions created in transit and offsets them to provide a carbon neutral shipping experience.

Protection is free for merchants and costs customers up to 2% of their cart total (with a minimum of $.98) when they opt in.

Should an issue arise, customers can quickly file claims through a link sent via email or directly in the Route app. Once a claim is submitted, Route jumps into action. Based on the merchant’s preference, Route will either refund the purchase or reorder the same products for the customers—ultimately creating a second sale for the merchant.

Customer claims are swiftly resolved while merchants save time and retain more revenue.

To add Route to your store, simply click the “Add app” button. Next, authorize the connection between your store and Route. This allows us to install the Route widget on your cart page, giving you immediate access to tracking and green package protection.

    We used the app for several years but support stopped responding to me when I asked with help uninstalling The app has been glitchy in our cart for several months and support always told me it was working as expected I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone

    This is the worst app to work with. Very shady business!!! Creating orders on my store without consent or notifying, refunding orders without my consent and without notifying me. Has not been approving claims due to "Cosmetic damage". DO NOT WORK WITH ROUTE, WORST MISTAKE I HAVE DONE!!!
