Termination of Service – Switching to Judge.me
Dear Ryviu Team,
We would like to inform you that we have decided to discontinue using the Ryviu app for our product reviews and review feeds. Unfortunately, our experience with your support has been disappointing, and we’ve faced multiple issues without timely or effective resolution.
Additionally, we find your XML file plan to be unreasonably priced, especially when compared to alternative platforms. Judge.me offers a far more affordable and user-friendly solution, which better aligns with our business needs and expectations.
Thank you for your past service, but we are moving forward with Judge.me.

Used this app for over a year. Worked great initially. The email automation to send review requests now breaks all the time and you won't notice until you wonder why you aren't getting any new reviews and go check to see hundreds of scheduled emails that never send. Support is not helpful in the slightest with the issue. Looking for a new review app do not waste your time.

To clarify, our email automation system will send review requests for orders where the customer's email is verified through Shopify. However, to ensure compliance and avoid potential issues, we do not send review request emails for orders where the email is not verified.
We understand how important it is to keep your review requests consistent, and we're here to help troubleshoot any specific cases where emails might not be sent as expected.

Very horrible app, You feel helpless like you were robbed!
You can not cancel the subscription on the app and I am still being charged!

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Allow me to clarify the situation:
Your subscription was indeed canceled on April 19th. However, as your billing cycle started on April 13th, the bill for that cycle was generated at that time. Since our system operates on pre-paid billing, your account remains on the paid plan until the end of the cycle on May 13th. By the way, we have already processed a full refund for your account.
We understand how frustrating this could be, and we're continuously working to make subscription management more transparent and user-friendly. However, if you would like, please let us know so we can update your plan to Free immediately and process a refund for you.

I added this app since it says it's compatible with my store. This particular store is the $5 starter plan as it's only used for shipping a few products, my other store is for local pick up & delivery. This was just the most economical and user friendly way to set up my stores. Even though this app claims to be compatible with the starter plan, the widgets will not add. When I asked customer service I was informed that the review widget is not compatible with the starter plan and I need to upgrade. So I guess I'll look for a different app.
This app is riddled with bugs. Every time I reach out to customer service, their default response is "you're wrong," regardless of the issue.

How does this have 4.8 stars? All of those reviews have to fake as these people control reviews.
This app is literally the worst app I have used in my life.
One day it works half okay and the next day the buttons have disappeared so I can't add reviews to my products. It does not import all the reviews from Amazon and cant even handle a link from Aliexpress. Then when it decides to work half okay it sometimes double reviews without any explanation as to why then one has to remove them and reimport them.
People pay for this. Why does this not work? It is affecting my business. I will look for other review apps. Waste of money and time.
Do not waste your time with this. Ryviu will most likely remove this too.

This app needs a lot of work as does their customer support! It says they have 24/7 support--they don't at all. have to wait hours for a response. You also have to repeat the issue over and over andthey give a solution that doesn't work. They are not thorough in trouble shooting. I was trying to upload a csv of saved reviews and every word that had an apostrophe in it, had an error code displayed where the apostrophe should have been. They kept saying to do this and that to fix it and no solution worked. Also my reviews are not listed on the actual pages on my shop--just when you click on the product listing do you see the review. Obviously, they should automatically have it programmed to see it in both places.
Stay away from Ryviu.
In their plan and offerings, they have mentioned Google Rich snippets in the first plan which makes you believe that you can display your reviews and ratings on google shopping ads/SEO. However, after installation, reviews import, when I read their tutorial at the time of implementation, it says "This feature is available on Ryviu Unlimited plan only".
Read this tutorial before you buy unlimited 19 USD/pm plan.

As explained via Live Chat, the "Google Rich Snippets & SEO" feature refers to star ratings displayed in normal Google search results, not Google Shopping. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
