I used this app to add a countdown timer in my store header and it's really amazing, it is fast, recommended.

it's a bit confusing to use but it works ok. When setting it up it was confusing to figure out how to get it to count down to the exact date i needed it to.

Easy to install and straight to the point. Hope this draws more urgency to my site and that customers find it helpful.
