Today I had the opportunity to try the split payment function, but it still doesn't work properly. First, the order cannot be loaded. Second, when filling in the amount, I first fill in the cash amount and then the credit card amount. After filling in the credit card amount, the cash amount automatically becomes zero. It's a very strange problem.
I hope there will be improvements.

We currently lookup Shopify for scanned barcodes, this process normally takes 1-2 seconds the first time you scan the barcode. The speed of lookups is governed by the Shopify backend, and we are unable to make the Shopify search any faster. The app keeps a local cache of previously searched barcodes and will scan faster the second time you look up the same barcode. Barcode lookups is something we are actively working on optimizing.
The Sales Terminal POS app requires additional permissions from Shopify to function. Only the store owner or administrator can grant these permissions

Very high quality app with an exceptionally talented and responsive support staff. We didn't want to purchase iPad's and the rest of Shopify's integrated POS equipment, and this app flawlessly enabled us to handle sales from our pre existing desktop equipment.

Almost perfect, but you cannot sale in two currencies, whereas your store accept two currencies for payment.

I think this is what Shopify POS needs at moment. So good service and so good support Barcode Scan, Ticket printer, and all the needed features for any store
This is one of the only apps out there that works seamlessly with shopify products, and also for those who like to use Desktop and are not limited to iPad or mobile.
I wish at some point they can add a report section for register closing history for future reference as needed, and also import a feature to be able to integrate with 3rd party card processors such as Square, etc.
Also the exchange process could be a little more sufisticated where we do not have to return and create a new sale for exchange in case there is a price increase in the exchange.

Very buggy - there are days it works ok but there are days where many products are missing. There is no way to synchronize manually. Quite annoying.
Update: Shopify has fixed this issue now. Their query interface was not returning all product variants. I hope you will give our app another chance. Thanks!
Hi,
This is a Shopify wide issue where some products are not being returned by their programming interface. Our app and other 3rd party apps by different vendors are experiencing this problem. I regret any inconvenience caused. We are working with Shopify on a fix and will let you know when this is resolved.

This POS is by far the best you can have. It also works great with order printer.
The only thing I would change is the discount in the refund or change orders, instead of being in all the order just in the product.

Unfortunately, the Shopify programming interface does not allow you to edit cart level discounts for old orders. If this is something they allow in the future, we will definitly add it to our app.
We use this app in our bookshop. It's seamless. Runs within your shopify browser on your laptop (or desktop) computer. We wish we had found it a year ago. If you run a shop and don't want to use tablets/ipads for Shopify POS, then this is the answer.
