This app is just what we needed. We find that many customers do the majority of their browsing going directly through the related items rather than navigating the entire site. Now people are spending a lot more time browsing uninterrupted, and we're able to show far more relevant things (like things with a similar ingredient list)... and not things that seem completely random because other people have bought them together. Not being able to customize related items was one of my biggest peeves about Shopify, second only to a lack of one-page checkout. The synonyms didn't seem to work when I first installed it, but all good now. People make typos or misspell things and come up empty-handed. Previously I would sprinkle some common misspellings in descriptions or switch between using a hyphen or not, so people would always be able to find something. Eww. Problem solved. :) I can't speak to the filter settings - we use tag filters, so they're not relevant for us. Only complaint is that I can't seem to sort the products that I've added related items to. It would be nice to be able to search or list alphabetical. It's a real pain to browse page after page to track something down if I want to update it.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Tag filtering is now available. For more advanced filtering capabilities, we recommend to use metafields.

Does the Shopify Search & Discovery work with the new prestige team?

I can only see the filter when I search for a product in the search bar first. How can I install it correct ?

If you filter a size the results will show all products which has at past that size whether in stock or out-of-stock. This is bad customer experience , a common sense is that if someone if filtering out a particular variation ( size, colour, etc.,.) why would he be shown OOS products ???? It can be solved by simply preselecting Availability filter but that function is also not available in the app. I hope shopify listens and fixes this as this is a very common problem.

Hi there; you can now control the display of out of stock product variants from the app's settings :) In the Settings screen, there is an "Out of stock products" section where you can choose to not show items in search results, which also applies to filtered views. Hello,

Thank you for this application which works well overall.

However, there is a HUGE problem with the filter section: products that are out of stock are still proposed.

In our case, we're talking about a filter by size (shoe), and by selecting the filter, all the models are displayed, whether they're in stock or NOT.

This creates a huge sense of frustration on the consumer side.

Please solve this problem as soon as possible!

Hi there; you can control the display of out of stock product variants in search results from the app's settings :) In the Settings screen, there is an "Out of stock products" section where you can choose to not show items in search results, which also applies to filtered views. It's great! I am on a Starter Plan with Shopify and yet I was still able to use this app that categorizes the search function so now it is easier to find just t-shirts or just mugs instead of going through all the main pages. It's great! I am pleased. Thank you so much!
