The search app is good, but there's lacking features.

If you have a store with more than 5000 items, the filter doesn't show and there's no way to filter a collection by product count.

Out of stock items are hidden in search, but forget about it if someone is browsing products.

Customize filters with metadata works fairly well, but for some reason adding thousands of data points to group makes the app not show all the data to group it in the app, but shows it to the customer on the website ungrouped.

Good app if you're only using one language. When working in several markets/languages the filter using product tags only works in your primary language, it will not be visible in your others...

There is only one thing that for me holds this app from getting 5 stars, and that is no compatibility with category metafields. Category metafields are great for variants, but cant be filtered by this app. Hopefully this will be added in a next update.

The good things are tha this app is free but it still can be improved.
Sometimes if you dont use the quotation marks with more than 1 term or AND / OR which most clients don't know the results that come up are weird.

i had to put an info bar about the header explaining how to search with quotation marks, AND / OR so that the results are much better.
This should be done in a more intuitive way with options inside the search bar so you don't have to add all that info in another place.

AI should also improve with time. I hope to see more development and more options to refine this search tool.

I have not tried it out with thousands of products, so do not know how it delivers in that situation

So it took me a while to find an app that would do exactly what I needed and this does it. Complimentary products because I have several items all with the same design and each has a unique design number in the title like BL#7. Only reason I did not give a 5 was because the search function when searching for items to add to the complimentary doesnt work well at all. Search for BL#7 and you get 50 items with BL#105 etc. If the search function returned only the matches it would be perfect.

Love this app for customising recommending products, the filter section needs a lot more customisation for me to be able to consider using it but being able to customise recommended AND matching products has been great for my customers & helping them find what they need visually. The one big downside is the automated recommendations, they make hardly any sense & I can't turn them all off - I have to do it one by one then replace all of them manually, it's taking me 4-6 minutes to do each product & I am dreading having to go through it again when I release a new collection. Great especially for an app I don't need to pay extra money money for, but time consuming

I give it 4 stars because the new categories (product) do not automatically appear in the filter. You need to create meta fields with related meta objects to make them visible in the filter section. This extra step can be cumbersome and time-consuming. However, once set up, the filtering functionality is excellent and greatly enhances the shopping experience.

This app does what it needs to get the job done when it comes to search and discovery. I would rate it for anyone else.

Our only issue is the filters limitation to 25.

I downloaded the app and was impressed with its user-friendly interface. It's so intuitive that I would even be willing to pay for it. However, there is a significant flaw in the filtering feature that renders it useless for our needs.

The problem lies in the static nature of the filters. For instance, if I select 'Brown' under the 'Color' filter and 'L' under the 'Size' filter, the app returns 'nothing found.' This is because the filters are not dynamically linked, meaning that the app does not take into account the relationship between the two filters.

It would be great if the app could have a dynamic filter behavior where choosing values from different filters wouldn't result in the frustrating 'nothing found' message. For example, it would be helpful if selecting 'Brown' would automatically eliminate 'L' from the 'Size' filter, preventing users from encountering a dead end.

Overall, the app has great potential, but the filter issue needs to be addressed to make it more practical for users. I hope the developers can implement a dynamic filter behavior soon.
