AI Chat doesn't get you over to support and goes on a loop of "I'll connect you with a Support Advisor for further assistance. Please hold on while I arrange that."
Also, there doesn't seem to be support for metaobject templates in search, so the site won't index the pages using those templates. I'd like to find if there's a workaround but can't seem to get any help.
Update: The only support received by now has been the reply here, yet is a very generic answer, which doesn't resolve the issue.
To their reply: I know where to find the "Out of Stock Products" setting, which is set to show only products "In Stock" by default; yet, ALL (In+Out of Stock) products show up. The issue persists, and worst, if I delete the app, it won't go away from my website. So I cannot move on to another reliable option in the market.
Original Review: I like the app, but I give it a 2 star rating as I couldn't get any support to ask some relatively basic questions about different features that are not working (like the setting for "Out Of Stock Products" which I want to show "Not At All", yet, they show on the site.)
They replied: "The "Out of Stock Products" setting is under the "Search relevance" section of the app settings. It controls how out of stock products and variants are handled in search results. This setting does not affect how out of stock products and variants are handled on Collection pages. You can read a bit more about this setting in the public Help docs at https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/search#search-result-types"

Excellent
I have changed one of the Filter names from "Filter By Type" to "Filter By Category". The change doesn't reflect on the store. Can you guide what needs to be done.
Each filter that is based on a metafield gets its label from the metafield definition name at the time the filter is added. So, to edit the label, you need to edit the metafield definition name, remove the filter, and add it again. It seems you have completed the first step, which is to rename your metafield definition. You now need to remove the filter and add it again inside the Search & Discovery app.
good
Update: The issue has been resolved, I'm happy.
Everything was working fine until one day. One of the main filters, availability, stopped working. The support can only write half a screen of text about how sorry they are and how they understand how important it is. But the ability to solve the problem is absent. I never thought I would say this, but Shopify support has become more useless than Amazon support.
Update: This problem has been fixed now on Shopify's end. As you identified, there was a recent issue specifically with the availability filter, but not all online store themes were affected depending on how the theme was coded. The issue has been patched now.
The limit of 25 filters allowed to be displayed is not enough. Our store needs to display more filters
Excellent app, and in my experience, usually much easier to use native apps from Shopify. The only thing I think it's missing is a "Re-direct" section, where you could manually say if someone searches for "X" re-direct them to a URL.
Like searching "Delivery", you could re-direct them to the delivery page rather than return 0 results.
Also, the ability to manage the filters a bit more, something like sort type, vendor by A to Z, Z to A, most results to least etc etc

Response to Shopify feedback:
Agree the suggestions work well for the most part, however, there are instances where we no longer sell a brand for example, it would be nice to manually direct people to a "missing brand" page explaining where it's gone.
Other scenarios might be people searching "finishes" like "Brushed Brass" I would like to ideally URL redirect that search to all of our products with the colour filter "Brushed Brass" ticked for example.
Thank you for your feedback. Predictive search allows you to add multiple types of resources incl search terms, products, articles, pages, collections as suggestions. Engaging with those suggestions will re-direct to the respective resource.
tout est compliqué sur Shopify
mala experiencia. tengo dos idiomas en mi web, y al configurar los filtros solo me aparecen en un solo idioma. solicite ayuda y no me lo resolvieron ya que es una limitación de la app.
Bad experience. I have two languages on my website, and when configuring the filters they only appear in one language. I asked for help and they did not solve it for me since it is a limitation of the application.
Thank you for the review. Filters can be shown in multiple languages, with the exception of product type, tags, and vendor because those product fields are currently not translateable. If you need to use any of those for your online store, a possible workaround is to use product metafields instead.
