App used to work great. Recently I noticed many of my items were not displaying when searching for our SKU. I was basically told - the platform our search is built on has trouble searching for numbers.

So it is a search app that is not able to search. Go figure.

It has a lot of great features and is pretty robust. However this limitation is mind-boggling, and their response made absolutely no sense. Especially since it worked perfectly fine just a few months ago.

It displays 3 of 11 results when searching for the part number in every instance. Very frustrating. Whatever change they made essentially made the app useless for us, as part number is a major way we search for our store. The native search built into shopify works fine, but somehow this paid app can't do even this basic search.

I will be deleting and looking for another alternative search that can actually do a search.

I have been using Searchanise Smart Search for more than 6 months now. And it has been functioning well for us. Our users especially benefit from instant search suggestions and results. I believe one small improvement will make it more useful for us. In the search results page, for filters, please provide an option to not include new collections by default. We want to manually add only those collections that make sense for filtering / faceted search. Currently, all new collections are automatically added and we need to go and remove manually. This makes it cumbersome for us. What I am asking for is to provide a switch that disables the automatic addition of collections to the filters, by default. All in all, it is a highly reliable app!

Great app, simple and easy to set up and ideal for sites that want a search for products and posts/pages.

This website search app is useful and definitely priced affordably compared to a few of the other top "Search" apps. It has a lot of customization features on the back end and another great thing is that the format in which it lays out the search results is a plus because it gives a lot of different filter options for the visitors. It suggests the correct products and also has its own algorithm based on previous searches and relevant pages/categories. It has definitely helped my site and with visitors converting to customers.

Great app, especially for the price. Support has been really good for me. It's not perfect, such as the Price Filter only using the lowest variant price (so ignores higher priced variants), and there was a slight decrease in Shopify's site speed but nothing drastic. One feature I'd like to see is a search option for Filters with many options. Hopefully the app team can continue to improve the app and bring more features in the future. Overall it's great and would highly recommend

The impact of installing Smart Search & Instant Search was dramatic and immediate - it's improved our customer experience immeasurably. It was a 14 day free trial but it took all of about 14 minutes to know we would be keeping the app.
