just a recommendation to the developer, that the carousel moves by default when one sees on the cell phone and that one can increase the number of images to display in the carousel ;)

If you are looking for just a feed - this is the right way done solution. As a Shopify section, you can utilize the feed at homepage and other pages as well. Fits 100 % on your theme look & feel and you get to control the position easily on your homepage.
