Thank you Segments team. This app really clears our mind of understanding our customers. Segments showed me which metrics I need to pay attention to. It helps us find our best customers and CLV, which is hard to calculate on our own. The pre-built segments are very useful for me so I don’t have to spend time digging around to know what customer segments exist and what triggers to set. The support team is really helpful, they are always there whenever we need helps. Overall, Segments is an app that very easy to use and understand. Highly recommended.

As a Shopify Expert and marketer, Segments is an absolute joy to work with. Rather than having to mine data in Google Analytics and create endless dashboards, Segments provides actionable metrics without ever having to setup a dashboard or custom report. As an agency, we've used Segments prior to its App Store launch to assess the customer behaviour on both Shopify Plus stores and new start-ups. From both a CRO and marketing perspective, it has been a godsend. Like all great app developers, these guys listen to what merchants want and take action where they can.

We originally installed Segments to have access to better customer and product data which helped inform business decisions. We were happy with the mid-tier analytics we had access to. We realized our business needed even deeper insights and decided to upgrade our Segments account to the Enterprise level which gives us access to the team behind Segments to act as our data analysts. We've worked on countless projects with the team and have received reports and recommendations around specific business cases that have changed how we're thinking about product assortment and customizing our marketing strategy based on insights.

Segments Analytics is one of my favorite Shopify apps, we started on the free plan but upgraded to the Growth plan... its worth it! I've learned so much about various segments of our customers (cohort, purchaser of X product, customers who we've engaged with Y marketing initiative) using the app. It has the cohort analysis that you'll find with other apps, but gives you the ability to cut (segment) that data in a lot more nuanced ways! The app provides a level of intelligence that'd I've only seen larger orgs with a data science team have access to. I'm very happy to have these insights at my finger tips. Also, the customer services for the app is great. Any time I've had questions, I've gotten an answer within a couple hours.

I haven't seen a product that's as well-thought-out as Segments, and I've been in eCommerce for close to a decade. It's an intrinsic part of my 'DTC stack' and has quite possibly saved me days, if not weeks' worth of data-crunching time. Having spoken to @johnchao and his team, I've been blown away by their attention to detail. You can see this from the dashboard - each section has context and is part of the overall story. It's not just metrics randomly thrown together. It's made for regular folks to make data-driven decisions so that they can focus their lives on the decision part rather than the data part. This app has been a fantastic addition to our site. It provides some really interesting data for us to use. It is especially handy being able to segment our customers (we use customer tags for different pricing on site) and now with a few simple clicks we have all the key metrics we need at our fingertips instead of ploughing through endless spreadsheets to analysis monthly sales. The playbooks are also really helpful, and although our email system doesn't have an available integration with segments, it still allows us to build a workflow for each of the main lifecycles of our customers. There are some new releases in V2 that I haven't had chance to fully look into as yet, but the product relationship area is sure to grow sales. And we will definitely be making use of the Facebook integration that has been recently added. The support team are second to none. we've had a couple of instances where we needed to chat and the team (John specifically) reply quickly, and are super friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the cost, the insight this app gives has saved hours of my time, and is working in growing our sales each month. It's definitely one that is going to pay for itself.

Segment is a game-changer for us. We're able to gain a birds-eye view on all of our cohorts--thanks to Segment's ability to blend data from order, product, and customer tables altogether. Easy navigation, actionable. Highly recommend
