I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience using the SEOAnt AI SEO app. I initially chose the free plan expecting a smooth and transparent trial, but after the free period ended, I was surprised by repeated attempts to trigger a paid subscription without any clear or explicit notification. What’s worse is that the app attempted to activate a recurring charge automatically even though I never approved it, and I had to dig through my activity log to prove that I had never accepted any paid plan.
This behavior is frustrating and highly unprofessional, especially since the app interface did not clearly communicate the exact trial expiry date or how to properly cancel before any billing took place. I feel that the app’s policy is not transparent enough toward merchants, which could cause unjustified financial losses if store owners do not monitor every detail manually.
Therefore, I strongly advise any merchant to monitor their app activity logs very closely and take screenshots of all billing events before their free trial ends, because this app — in my opinion — does not deliver a safe or trustworthy experience as promised. Sadly, I cannot recommend using it at this time until they seriously improve how they communicate subscriptions and notifications in a fair and respectful manner.

Disappointing! Encountered an issue related to the Speed Optimization which resulted in our "checkout button" being unavailable when switching between product variations. Support blamed other apps yet when I restored to my backup theme, SEOAnt suggests creating a backup (FYI we use Dawn theme), the issue was resolved. Obviously only one change was made so take responsibility and try to fix. Also, I uninstalled the app thinking it would remove the code but once I fixed the issue I reinstalled and tried to use the same discount code when I originally signed up 5 days prior I couldn't. The app didn't even make it to the end of the 7 day trial. Decent set of tools but creating this huge problem crippling my store and not taking accountability is not acceptable.

Image optimizer doesn't work, keeps timing out after only 30 optimizations or so. Support wasn't very helpful.

The application doesn't even deserve a star, with a 60 dollar per month plan, only bugs, nothing works, it's the most useless application I've ever used, the support service is just as disgusting, doesn't answer questions after hours of waiting, even with reminders every 5 minutes, in any case be careful.

Feature suggestions to improve and simplify backlink exchanges:
Remove closed stores from the listing
Enable backlink exchanges by country and language
Add a keyword search function to easily find similar or niche stores
