We've been using this app for years. Consistent and reliable.
BEWARE! Their payment information makes it look like you pay for what you use, but if you don't uninstall the app they will keep charging you that every month (in my case for years). Even after other negtive reviews here they haven't changed their payment information to reflect how it actually works.
I have used this app for a few years to resize, square and optimize over 3000 Product images and it has performed without a hick-up the entire duration. I highly recomend that anyone wanting Image compression and resising This is the app to use!! Franz - AbsoluteSkin.

Brilliant. Saved hours of manual work! Main reason for using was to convert thousands of images to squares so that they all display in a uniformed way. Easy & Simple to use. The other features are a great bonus that we've made use of too to lower image file sizes and do some low effort SEO. All images modified have come out looking great with no issues at all. Would happily recommend to anyone considering this. Just give the free trial a go an see for yourself. I realise this may sound like a fake review as it's so positive, but I genuinely am this happy with the app. Update - Been using for 9 months and still just as happy.
PRO- If you have a lot of photos to resize, This is a good app to use.
CONS-It does not automatically recognize new photos, from a newly listed item, to resize. You have to manually search for the new listing and manually have it resized. There also isn't a way to sort items from new to old or vise versa, which makes it hard to find a new listing. For the amount of money paid for this app, it should have these important features, especially is someone's store has 500+ items for sale.

Certainly a good app to start with your store optimization, but there is a room for improvement:
- recommendations on image compression
- recommendations on using canonical URLs
