SeriaLogic ‑ Order Serializer

I've been using this app for almost 10 months, and it delivers exactly what I need. It works like a charm and integrates seamlessly with Shopify. Their customer support is outstanding—definitely five-star service. After switching from WooCommerce to Shopify, I was searching for a plugin like this, and it has been perfect for managing my digital collection. Highly recommended!

The app developer is responsive and quick to implement improvements e.g. the one in the other review about being unable to search and more recently he adjusted/fixed functionality around swapping used serials back to new serials if they are removed from a product.

General thoughts on the app below:
-solid serial functionality in an easy to use app
-serials are all stored within the app and you can add an app block to the order details page in the admin to see serials from this page (not just within the app) which is a nice workflow
-main benefit is for businesses who need a serial automatically assigned at the time of order as the app does this very well
-it works fine with POS
-easy to search by serial number
-quickly see used/new serials at the variant level
-would be nice to be able to choose between auto assigning a serial or manually assigning a specific (or custom) serial

Cette app Shopify nous permet de gérer les numéros de série liés à des articles contenus dans les commandes. Très simple d'utilisation et complète, l'app peut par exemple aussi afficher les numéros de série dans les mails envoyés aux clients.
Le développeur est toujours disponible si nous avons un besoin d'assistance et c'est très appréciable : aujourd'hui l'app a évolué pour tous nos besoins actuels.

Great app, great support for this serial numbers management app. We can do everything needed with it and with the help of the dev we saw the app potential during the trial period. A+++

At the time of writing this review, there is only one other review written on this. It does somewhat accurately describe the lack of a searching feature, but I find the one star review to be excessive since there is a workaround for searching that is a bit less intuitive, but still works okay.

I found the functionality of this app to be solid. The UI is simple and intuitive. I will say that the docs and in-app tips have plenty of grammatical errors. That aside, I really enjoyed using it after using two other applications that didn't quite provide the right functionality.

What sets this app apart from those other two is the ability to provide a list of Serial numbers in advance. When your customer purchases an item, a serial number can be automatically assigned the moment the order is made. This was critical for a specific use case we were exploring. If you are selling hardware that has preassigned serial numbers, you can also add the serial number after the order is placed. The flexibility in choosing to add serial numbers before or after the order placement was unique.

If the search feature was added directly to the "My Serials" tab, an ability to import Serial Numbers via uploading a spreadsheet was added, and the grammar was cleaned up, I could give this app 5 stars. As it stands, still a solid 4 star app.

Our exact needs have evolved at the moment so we won't be using this app for a while, but if we need to track serial numbers again, we will download this one again for sure. I still wanted to leave a review since I initially ignored this app due to its low review by another user.
