The fact that the app still doesn't support Shopify Markets natively and multiple tracking domains is rather disappointing given the number of inquiries for this functionality!

Be careful when using the Stape Custom Loader via Shopify Custom Pixel.
In my setup, the loader injects the Web GTM container 5–8 seconds after page load, which causes serious issues:
- First page_view and session_start can be missed
- Campaign parameters (gclid / utm) may be lost
- Consent Mode v2 default signals are sent too late
- Google reports missing ad_personalization
- Attribution and remarketing performance is negatively affected
Consent Mode v2 requires consent defaults to run before any Google tags initialize, which is not possible with this delayed injection.
When I moved GTM back to , all consent and attribution issues disappeared.
Recommendation:
Load the Web GTM container in and use Shopify Custom Pixel only for checkout / purchase events.
Do not rely on Custom Loader for primary container injection if you care about data quality and consent compliance

You’re right that there was a bug affecting Custom Loader on checkout pages, and we’ve already fixed it. If you’re willing, please try again and let us know whether everything works as expected now.
Regarding consent, the app has nothing to do with consent pushes and does not influence them.
If anything still isn’t working properly, please contact our support team. We’ll investigate and help you resolve it as quickly as possible.

After going through the complete setup over 10x times, the performance Google Ads tracking has now completely stopped leaving me with no data! Additionally the Stape setup requires you to delete all other client based tracking pixel in order to work somehow properly. ( This Risk i was not aware of leaving me with no proper tracking system now, a total nightmare!)
->SGTM Tracking Performance is exremly fragile and the Stape system is not really user friendly unless you are a web developer.
The Tracking doesnt work anymore and has been declining causing damage to my ad campaigns and my revenue for weeks. Since using Stape i loose money due to unclean tracking data and too much instability in the tracking system.

Worst Service Ive seen so far.
If you contact the support they'll reject your request immediately and avoid a feedback in clear need. The need of the customer is not heard causing frustration. They redirect you to "Stape Care" which can (maybe help) but you'll have to pay USD900 to get it done..
If a support system which is needed in case of failure and issues, wants 900USD for checking your screenshots, then this System is not build to improve or optimze the customer needs!
For now, ive never been so frustrated using an app, and I canNOT recommend using it.
