Shabbat Mode (a.k.a. Sabbath Mode) is an easy to use app that allows you to close your shop for holidays and special days, based on your chosen schedule. You may select to close your store weekly for 1 day (for example Saturdays), or close the store on holidays based on the integrated Hebrew calendar (Hebcal API). Your store automatically re-opens on your chosen schedule.

This app has been a blessing for my business! I opted to host my store on Shopify specifically for this option, Shabbat Mode. Ceasing from buying and selling on the Biblical 7th day sabbath is a covenantal sign between the Most High and His people. Shabbat Mode allows me to honor Him in a very important way. An added bonus has been the ease of use of this app. I set it up and don't have to worry about it on the weekly basis, it always works!
Been using Shabbat Mode for 5 years. The newest version is a great improvement over the old version. If you are needing to close your store down for certain days this is a great option. Highly highly recommend!
We're a conservative Christian bookstore that tries to avoid doing business on Sundays. So far this app is working well. We recommend it.
