Installed the app and ran a scan. It showed issues and general instructions to fix, but the instructions were not consistent with Shopify and some of the issues like missing payment icons is incorrect bc I clearly have payment method icons on my Homepage. I’ll have to keep searching for a better app to help with my Google Merchant account. Disappointed because I really was hoping this would help, but if the free plan doesn’t work I am definitely not paying for another plan.
Hey, appreciate you taking the time to write this up. Shopify themes render payment icons in a lot of different ways, some of them not visible to an automated scan, and we've since expanded ours to pick up far more of them. Run a fresh scan and it should reflect your store accurately now. We also refreshed a few of the fix steps so they match Shopify's current admin. Easy to install. Easy to do a scan. It could not find the policies that we thought we had in place, so the question becomes, can we trust Google to read them? Instead of guessing this tool allows us to pass tests. Very happy. Considering upgrading to paid version.
