ShineOn: Print On Demand

Extremely unreliable support. We’ve followed up 7+ times about an urgent issue with some orders that are affecting our payment gateways, yet for a week we’ve received the same generic reassurances with no concrete action from the so-called Leadership Team.

Unfortunately, this has become a pattern over the past year. Urgent tickets get dragged out, requiring hours of repeated follow-ups with agents who seem unable to actually resolve anything.

Extremely disappointing experience with ShineOn lately. Support should help sellers solve problems, not make us battle for days just to get an update.

I’ve had a great experience with ShineOn so far. The platform is easy to use, the products are high quality, and their support team has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed them. Very pleased with the experience and looking forward to continuing to grow with ShineOn.

I’ve been using ShineOn for years and unfortunately the service and support have become increasingly unreliable.

The biggest problem is when something actually goes wrong. Urgent issues often require 4-5+ escalations and repeated follow-ups just to get a concrete answer. We’ve dealt with delayed/lost shipments, failed deliveries, customer disputes, and orders approaching marketplace deadlines, yet support frequently responds with apologies and “still under review” instead of solutions.

Simple requests are usually handled, but when your business genuinely depends on their support, getting someone to take ownership of an issue has become extremely difficult.

After years of doing business with ShineOn, it’s extremely disappointing to see the service reach this point. I really hope they improve their support, logistics communication, and accountability

We run a personalised jewellery store on ShineOn and we publish everything through the API rather than the dashboard.

Two things stood out. Support got us API access quickly and answered clearly, and the publish endpoint does exactly what the docs say it does. We took our catalogue from 8 products to 26 without a single click in the ShineOn interface, which is the whole reason we chose a POD partner with a real API. Fulfilment has been clean so far and orders shipped without us chasing anything.

Two things we would like to see improved. There is currently no way to add a variant to a product after it has been created, so offering an extra finish means rebuilding the product and re-applying every metafield. And after an API publish, placeholder images and internal SKU tags keep arriving on the product for some time afterwards, so we run our own cleanup on a schedule.

Neither of those stopped us building what we wanted. Good product quality, responsive support, and an API that genuinely works.

Lots of Products in their Catalog that will not import into Shopify. There support email is non-existent. I have sent numerous emails to their support address for months now and have never heard back.

I am getting frustrated trying to publish different products after spending lots of time creating them and then the product won't publish and all the work I have put into it is lost!

I have been waiting for answers since March, had my store set up by them only to find out I can't do a darn thing with it.
Waste of time and money

I have been with Shine On for a little over a year. Customer service is amazing! They are so supportive!

There customer service team handled my issue promptly and efficiently. I was able to get my customer served correctly.
