So easy to install, takes all the risk away for the customer by ensuring insured delivery of the goods. Even better that we earn revenue from each policy taken. So far averaging about 95% take up with Ship Safely. Very clever idea, so simple and strongly reccomend these guys. Also was quick to answer questions we had regarding install and claim process.
I'm a big fan of Ship-safely. It's a great idea for any e-commerce brand.
Our management and customers are both able to relax as Ship-Safely is the safety net we both are looking for when buying and sending orders online. They ensure the shipment and if it is lost, they will re-purchase the order so the customer gets the items they want and the store gets two fully paid orders! The cost is low per order and they are very quick to resolve and reimburse our store. There's even a small kickback to the store for each purchase that uses Ship-Safely.
Their HUMAN customer support team has handled all of our enquiries effortlessly, whilst being understanding and sensitive to our problems.
I was recommended Ship-Safely by a friend and I will continue to recommend them to anyone who has an e-commerce store - it's a no brainer.
Ship-Safely is a must for an e-comm business.
It gives us the peace of mind that our shipments are protected. Ship-safely steps in if your shipment is lost or misplaced. Sadly, with the high turnover of staff and staff shortages in the courier industries in Sydney, lost or misplaced parcels are becoming more and more common. Ship-safely has stepped in for a number of our shipments that were lost, not only covered the cost of the items that were lost in transit, but ordered the same order again so that the customer was not left without their uniforms.
It is an opt-out service, so the customer has the ultimate decision about whether or not they would like their shipment protected. The low cost for protection means most customers are happy to protect their order.
Implementation was simple. Will and the team were a fantastic support throughout that process. Ongoing support is a breeze.
New to ship-safely but loving it so far. The customer uptake has been really positive and it takes the stress out of it for us knowing we don't have to deal with any postage issues. There's no downside to installing the app. You walk away with peace of mind and a small $ percentage on top.
Extremely valuable asset for any e-commerce store, set and forget addition to your business that will protect you monetarily and save you time. Customer service team is A+, both responsive and helpful too mail/calls alike.

This is a very clever solution for our online store. I am not the most tech-savy person, so i had a little trouble installing on my own. William and the team were amazing at providing support, and the app was installed in our checkout with no issues and works perfectly. I am pleasantly surprised by how many customers want to protect their orders.
We couldn't get use of the app just by downloading it, they wanted us to register on their platform, provide them with an email, phone number, and they force a 2-step authentication. Prepare your credit card too! They will charge twice a month! Embrace yet another account (and accounting)!
This is not a native Shopify system which can log you in seamlessly using your Shopify credentials like most apps do - very annoying to create yet another account!
The app would utilize a Shopify store efforts in advertising and driving traffic - would upsell package protection to shoppers, and would kick back to a store 10% of what they made from that store. What is stopping a Shopify store from adding a Package Protection as an option to a Shopify cart? Charge the same fees only keeping 100% of the proceeds without going through ridiculous hoops of signups?
The Shopify does not allow them certain things so they want you out on their server which caters also to Woocommerce and Bigcommerce - a one-fit-all solution, not a Shopify solution. Shopify users have to dance around with a drum providing emails, phones - all what app demands.
Any "paracite" apps leaching off Shopify sellers' hard work should not be placing unreasonable demands or burdens on Shopify sellers, should be thinking how to adhere to Shopify frameworks and be more usable and user friendly. Apps that demand a separate login and a credit card outside of Shopify should be banned from the Shopify App Store.
