About Shipping Rates by ZipCode

If you are on a basic plan or below Advanced plan of Shopify, please read before installing.

Carrier calculated shipping must be required to use this app.

This app requires carrier calculated shipping defined by Shopify for your store to retrieve shipping rates from external sources.

Shopify Advanced and Shopify Plus plans have by default with Carrier calculated shipping. If your store is on an alternative plan you can get Carrier Shipping free of charge by switching to annual billing and requesting Carrier Shipping from Shopify Support.

Based on zipcode it will calculate appropriate shipping price on Shopify checkout. This app automatically fetches the shipping rates for your customers at Shopify checkout. This app supports both numeric and alphanumeric postcode. And this app supports all the countries supported by the Shopify like US, UK, France, Canada, Spain, Portugal, etc…

This app allows you to add conditional shipping rate based on cart price or weight. It is compatible with all the available sales channels of the Shopify. In addition, you can enable and disable the shipping rate based on the days of week.

No need for the coding knowledge to configure this app.

You can set conditional logic for shipping rate:

  • Based on order price
  • Based on minimum and maximum weight
  • Based on item weight
  • Based on item qty
  • Based on Cart Total Percentage
  • Based on Product Selection (Here you can set different shipping for each product)
  • Shipping rate based on the day of week

Provide shipping rates to your customers based on postcode. This app supports both numeric and alphanumeric postcode.

  • You can add Zip Codes with single or range or both like 100001,100002,100003=100097,100098,100099 each Zipcode separated by "," and you can define range with "=" or you can add Zipcode like 3600*, this means it will apply on all the Zipcode which is start with 3600.

I highly recommend Shipping Rates by ZipCode. I have been looking for a shipping rates solution for the past 3 years (since we launched our store). It seemed impossible to find out that could do what I wanted. We ended up sticking with the native Shopify shipping solution and we "made it work for us". It was not ideal, but it worked. I found Shipping Rates by Zipcode late in 2020. I downloaded the free trial and began building out the app. I created 11 different shipping zones from FedEx, the respective zipcodes per shipping zone, and the weight ranges of our boxes that we ship with the respective shipping service. It was a full project but one I am proud of. Since we subsidize our shipping costs, this customization was highly important. After everything had been set, I had a complication from products we sell that do not need to be expedited versus items that need to be expedited. It took about 1 week and they had a solution created to fit my need. I cannot thank Shipping Rates enough for the stellar performance, the incredible customer service, and the willingness to hear me out and gauge if my request/issue was worthy of adding the feature to their app. If you are looking for a shipping app solution, look no further. Seriously, this app is incredible. Thank you guys!

Excellent service and support, 100% would recommend. They offered personal support to tailor the app to work for our local delivery service and ensure we didn't lose money having to refund orders where we couldn't fulfil the shipping. Superb!

Super easy and quickly installed. It does what it needs to do. Works great. I would certainly recommend this app if you need to customize shipping to zipcode levels and specific products
