Due to the ever increasing presence of e-commerce, hundreds of thousands of packages are being shipped throughout the world on a daily basis. Because of this, it is becoming more and more common for packages to become lost in transit, or arrive at your customer’s house broken or damaged. Porch theft is also becoming a common place issue. As a merchant, a significant amount of time and money is spent communicating with customers and coordinating replacement shipments.
Shipping Warranty Automation by Guardia One is a completely free service dedicated to aiding merchants like you to save time and money by taking care of these customers affected by shipping loss, as well as earn daily revenue commissions, all with zero effort on your part.
How Does it Work?
It’s simple. Just download our shopify app and an option will be automatically added at checkout prompting customers to add shipping protection for only $0.98 (if the order total is greater than $100, the price becomes 1.2% of the order total). After their order is placed, they will receive an email from Guardia One with instructions in the event their package is lost, damaged, or stolen. If one of these events occurs, a Guardia One agent will then coordinate with the customer and will place a replacement order on their behalf, all within a guaranteed 24-hour timeframe.
You will earn commissions every time this option is added! Earn extra revenue every time a customer applies shipping protection to their cart. Because we are not an insurance provider, the cost of replacement products will simply be deducted from the commission percentage. If replacement costs exceed the commission percentage, then the cost can be deducted from the Guardia 1 Royalties.

How Do I Sign Up?
Simply download the app using your Shopify Store's login. Once it is downloaded, launch the app to automatically add the feature to your website. Here, you will have acces to a detailed dashboard which will show you the number of orders protected by Shipping Protection, as well as the total revenue which has been protected.

We added this app this year and we couldn't be happier. Because this is not an insurance product, we were initially apprehensive that replacement orders for lost or damaged items might cost more than the revenue share. This has not been the case and we are adding thousands of dollars in additional revenue each month.
We have always offered a full warranty on all of our products and Guardia One has made that process automatic and profitable for us. We provide the warranty, and Guardia One provides the service and the automation. We have offered our warranty now on nearly $3m in orders and have made almost $30,000 (and counting) in additional margin. Guardia One's customer service has been stellar and our customers have been able to get replacement items ordered with little to no involvement from us.
