I would not recommend Shipstation due to their lack of technical support resources. The customer support reps do the best they can, however, when it comes to any issue that is slightly technical it can take weeks so find a solution.

Shipstation defaults to: "it's been escalated to senior support" — however we have yet have an issue resolved once it reaches this stage. At this stage there is no visibility or transparency to the status of the issue, or the time it which it will take to find a resolution.

A very useful app that has already saved us a ton of time while we are shipping. The only reason it is not getting a perfect review is that it is so huge that a bit of training is needed to take full advantage of its features. Excellent customer service is provided, with your own rep; call and email response times have always been within 24 hours.

The integration was super simple and took a matter of minutes. It has helped streamline our fulfillment and being able to print multiple labels at once for the same item ordered has been awesome. There are a few hiccups with the address validation from time to time but for the most part it catches address errors. It has definitely made the shipping process for our business much smoother.

As a high-volume seller with about 8000 orders per month, doing business with them for 2 years, I find myself at a loss for words to express how frustrated and angry I am with this company. Their support (even though we have "high priority") is a joke and insulting. I mean it. They recently increased their price by 100% (you're reading that correctly) with a 1 month notice, including new API costs. Their latest interface update removed some features we used, without notice. They simply don't care. The last issue was the cherry on top. We will now find a competitor as soon as we have the time and resources. If you're a high seller reading this: AVOID THEM and their sister companies; they won't be on your team. We regret our choice.

Stamps.com owns Shipstation and likes to make a sizeable margin on the USPS Priority Mail labels they offer through Shipstation. Do your own comparisons on rates for your shipping needs before settling on any label and shipping solution for your business -- we realized that the full cubic rates that are available to us through Shopify or Shippo are always much less expensive than what Shipstation/Stamps.com is willing to provide to small businesses that do not quality for a bulk high-volume direct contract with USPS. Likewise the UPS Air and Ground rates that were offered to us with our own UPS account through Shipstation were always significantly more than the same UPS rates available to us through Shopify or Shippo. The Shipstation UI, bulk order processing and printing, the ability to print to a remote printer with Shipstation Connect, and the customer self-service returns portal were all decent and useful over the eight years we were a Shipstation customer. There is even a smartphone app for on-the-go order processing.

We moved to ShipStation on Lettuce' recommendation. Our ShipStation experience has been terrific. My three favorite things: 1) Onboarding call. To help us get started, one of the SS folks called and answered questions. 2) Slick, thoughtful product that seems to be working reliably perfectly and exceeding expectations often. 3) On every support reply we've received, the rep has not only read our question but looked into our product and done their homework on our setup, before answering. Wow.

Their Monday morning outages are getting old. Happens way too often. Also, when you get customers, whose shipping labels show to have been paid for and printed, contacting you on a regular basis you will realize that you have to babysit this company's product. There are several threads on the Amazon Seller forum describing this exact issue, charging for shipping labels that aren't printed out. The latest glitch had occurred for over a week when using Shipstation Connect. Randomly printed out blank pages instead of Packing Slips. This seemed to occur when printing large batches. After waiting on their Chat for over an hour their poorly trained support person was zero help. Told us we should uninstall and reinstall the app & also tried to infer that it was our printer causing the problem. We have 2 printers and they both did the exact same skips. Another waste of time. We have found a workaround to avoid the missing packing slips. It takes more time but we can't continue having orders not shipped. Looking for a new option that isn't part of Shipstation or Stamps.com (the parent company). The fact that Shipstation took three weeks to respond to this clearly represents their approach to customer support.

It's time to write a review for this absolutely stellar app. We've been using it for one sales channel (our shopify store) and only recently decided to integrate amazon orders. We used to write out our amazon shipping details into shipstation by hand. We are saving so much time. The integration was quick and painless. Shipstation shipped the amazon orders, confirmed the orders on seller central, and recorded the tracking numbers as well. This app is absolutely worth it.

I've been using Shipstation for about 5 years now, and this most recent update is absolutely horrible. They made it very hard to split orders, and the newly split orders no longer have their own order number. Now, as of July 1st, you can't even split orders anymore. I'm sure it's just a glitch, but when we have a large order that needs to be split into multiple shipments, we can't do it anymore. Printing labels now takes extra unnecessary steps. When you hover over an order, order details automatically pop up in a screen in front of you and doesn't go away until you click the popup away. That's annoying. They also took my custom layout for printing and wiped it clean with this new update, so I have to re-establish that. This new update is absolutely horrible, and good luck figuring out how to contact them. I am on the Gold plan and it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to contact them because help just says that if I'm on the gold plan, I should click the ? and a chat button will be there. There is no chat button. I actually have no idea what I clicked on in 30 minutes of searching to make the chat button appear, but it was ridiculous. This update will more than likely cause us to leave Shipstation after many years with them because each day it just gets worse.
