UPDATE: RATED ARE GLITCHY AND MY BILL WAS INCREASED FROM GRANDFATHERED PRICE TO $100 MORE THAN THE PRICING SHEET SAYS. CHAT DOESN'T WORK, NOR DO THE PHONES AND EMAILS TAKE FOREVER TO GET A REPLY. THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT RESPOND QUICKLY ARE THE SALES TEAM WHICH ONLY TALK TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS
CON's: 1) The automatic import of orders every hour was discontinued by shipstation without informing anyone so that they can create a instantaneous import for which they have no idea when it will be available. 2) Recently there have been a lot of glitches. 3) The new layout is missing stuff that the old layout had. 4) You can't assign a item to a package so when the tracking number is sent to shopify it marks the entire order as fulfilled even if you only shipped 1 of the 5 items on the order.
Update: The only response I've gotten from ShipStation was because of this review. I still haven't heard back from anyone about my problem in most of a week. Seems they care more about how they look than how they actually do their jobs.
It keeps getting more expensive, while the service keeps getting worse.
I've been three days without the ability to create labels, and I still can't figure out if any of the support staff (who appear to be farmed out to a 3rd party now) have even used the software before.
Not only did my fees DOUBLE for using my own carrier accounts, but the service and support are 1/10th of what they used to be.
This is the worst way to spend your money. Find something else.
Im cancelling and moving to Ordoro.
Update: After 2 weeks of outage my issue was finally resolved and we were able to create labels again with the carrier we have the best agreement with.
We lost ~$3000 in increased shipping costs in this window of time. Shipstation was gracious enough to provide us with a $400 credit to make up for this....
Responses were slow, and we were more or less left completely in the dark on what was going on, or what discoveries were made. We were never provided with a reason for the outage.
We are still working to migrate away from ShipStation at this point.

ShipStation recently forced users into a new interface that is awful and buggy. It now takes much longer to get packages out the door and creating returns and return labels takes twice as long as it used to. Good luck getting anyone from ShipStation to respond to help requests. Actively looking for a replacement because of how slow it's made fulfilling orders.
I am so frustrated at this app and the lack of support that we have been receiving. Ever since the update, Shipsation has been a total disappointment. We used it without any issues for the past 5 years but once the upgrade happened, nothing has been functioning properly. It's time-consuming to have to reach out to tech support constantly because their app isn't functioning properly. I am looking into a different fulfillment app.
The app was once golden and a must have for our business. But since the recent updates we have had trouble after trouble with getting into our account for everyday shipping. We are unable to to login to our account at all! it's terrible and there is no support or answers! We have used this app since 2016! So sad, but will be seeking out other options and I advise anyone looking into a platform for shipping ease to do the same! Our workflow has been completely disrupted!
Always having issues and being forced to reinstall from scratch. Leaves my business and my employees hanging. Absolute pain.
I've used this app for literal years and years, and it's been perfectly fine. Ever since they updated the layout and forced it on us with no option to revert it's been buggy, glitching out at anything more than a few orders at a time, and have completely disrupted the work flow many of us have been using for years. Now it's taking 2-3x as long to do the same basic stuff we used to do. Please use Pirate Ship or something else. Ship Station sucks
Love it when it works. But it doesn't always work! Lots of bugs and lots of down time unfortunately.
I've been using the app for 4+ years. Used to be a great app but the recent updates turn it into total crap. The users on shared workstations can't print anymore . Tried to get assistance from support only to be told that "Because of the changes made to this version of ShipStation Connect, we recommend only having one user logged in at a single time " - hello, 1992 is speaking .
Very very buggy. Used to be great. If anyone can recommend an alternative please do so. This software is a mess.
