We've been using ShipStation for 8 years. The integration with Shopify is seamless. It's easy to use and saves us so much time. It allows us to ship from multiple carriers, handles international shipments, and returns. I can't imagine operating an online store without it.

Used to be good. Now with Shopify locations, when I make a sale, my sales channel removes the sold stock from inventory. Once I ship the order through ShipStation, Shipstation ADDS INVENTORY BACK. and they are refusing to take blame and blaming Shopify. My inventory is getting messed up with every sale. I’m switching to Shipworks.

Shipstation is a fantastic platform for managing shipments! I've been using it for over a year and a half, and it continues to surpass my expectations. Pros: - The interface is nicely laid out to give access to all of the tools we need without being overwhelming, with good navigation and tab organization - You can set up customized filter and column views, and save them as tabs for easy repeat reference - The search function with advanced search is very accurate and reliable, with options to fine tune the results extensively - Product info can be updated with selective imports so you're not overwriting any existing data - There are multiple stackable options for product and order organization to give very granular control over your systems - The automation rules are extensive, with virtually every product and order variable usable as an automation trigger - Built-in batch fulfillment with the ability to generate batches through both automation and manual filtering: if you've set the item weights/boxes/customs info/batches/filtering/etc up correctly, you can process orders near-instantly - Networked printer integration: if you set up the connection with Shipstation Connect (free desktop application) on one computer, you can print from Shipstation on any device - Support is quick to respond and very knowledgeable - The documentation is extensive, easy to understand, and simple to navigate through - The pricing is also very affordable for the amount of time we save - It has integrations for all the platforms we use and can manage multiple stores and couriers The only notable con is that Shipstation currently lacks built-in tools for tracking packing materials: you can create custom box sizes and add them to orders seamlessly with both automatic and manual options, but you can't add a weight to a box listing and have the order weight adjust automatically when you change the box, or remove a box from inventory when you process a shipment. Small thing, but annoying: we end up adding the box weight to the product weights so we can batch fulfil our 1-2 item orders, but it messes all the calculations up for multi-item orders. Overall highly recommend, Shipstation is an excellent platform: I've recommended it to several small business owners in passing, and I'd recommend it in general to anyone who has to track orders.

Great option for sellers that are on multiple platforms . Packing lists are also accurate and reflect sales/discounts or what the customer actually paid. Converted from XPSShipper. Costs less and more integrations.

I've been using shipstation for about 3 years. While works well, as you grow you see it's limitations quickly. I went from 3 shipments a day to 60 and I can honestly say, I'm not impressed. Lacking features: 1. doesn't automatically pick the lowest shipping rate if you have multiple courier accounts; 2. fails to pick up HS codes for international shipping; 3. may not pick up sale prices and country of origin for customs. Those are my 3 biggest pet peeves.

Where do I start! the idea and roadmap they have are great but what they say they offer doesn't work. We are UK based and find Fundamental things like the invoices are wrong as they show the price and the tax added together as the order total so the customer thinks they are paying more than they are. Shipstation told me this was fixed in version 3 but it isn't. The support they offer is poor. I have been trying to get set up for 5 weeks and the person I am speaking with who I have to book in a 30min appointment with once a week doesn't know the system and has to create support tickets for every issue I have. they have issues with exporting data, booking in certain labels like royal mail jersey or DPD Ireland. The automation rules they have are hit and miss and it seems to take time to make amendments. you have to reload the page numerous times for things to take effect.
I would be more than happy to change my rating if these things are addressed. I have tried with support but when you get an email in reply to a phone call asking if I still have a problem to get in touch. I wouldn't have contacted them in the first place if I didn't have a problem (i would just like some help). I'm trying to give them my money and they aren't able to help me to do it. for anyone thinking about moving to ship station its not a 1 click setup and there is an awful lot of work to do to get things working as you need and if you're like me you will find some basic features are missing.

DO NOT USE. They have broken API functionality with Royal Mail and as a result up to 50% of my shipments went missing. The UK Manager just called me personally and admitted they know about this issue but thought people weren't losing 'too many.'

Pro: -Generally positive experience for orders placed and fully shipped within a few days. For orders with longer wait times, or orders that are split into multiple shipments we have some issues. -Automated completion of customs forms for international shipments. Con: -Long times between automated store synchronization: Can be over two hours between store updates from Shopify. There is the option to manually update the stores, but it is not feasible to manually update the store 24/7 if there are other processes that rely on timely information. -Poor support for split-shipped orders. If one item from an order ships, Shipstation will not process any edits to the order (e.g. an item added to the order, an item removed from the order, other quantity adjustments to the order, address edits or updates) -Orders only open to edits for a short time: After 60 days no order edits or changes are passed to Shipstation. With supply chain delays we regularly have orders that are older than 60 days that require changes or edits. -Long loading times in Shipstation: with orders that have a large number of items, or orders that have one or more previous shipments there is a VERY LONG and noticeable delay from the time an order is opened in Shipstation before the page fully loads and we are able to make adjustments in weight, shipping service, return labels, or print a label. -Unreliable USPS tracking numbers generated during peak seasons: Recently, large quantities of tracking numbers that are generated for our USPS shipments have not been reset before being reused. These tracking numbers provide the shipment history of shipments that were completed previously during the year, and we have been unable to find a solution to reset those so that our customers receive accurate tracking information for their order.

I really love the shopify integration with shipstation. Being able to pull in all of my orders and batch print labels is extremely efficient and saves me a lot of time.
