Sadly, we have to leave the product. If you have a lot of volume, this is not a good app for you. No matter what we do, tracking information is not sent to our customers nor does it update the shopify order with the tracking information. So we end up fielding calls and questions from angry customers wanting to know where their shipping information is.
Customer service simply says they can not replicate the problem? So reluctantly, we go back to the standard shopify shipping using our custom account.
If you only ship a few packages a day, and can manually take the time to update your orders, then you could give it a try.
We have been using Shipstation for over 5 years with great success and have even recommended it to anyone that asked... Unfortunately, they just made some updates that broke their system... Need to update an address or an order in shopify? That update might not make it to shipstation... ever. I tried reaching out to their support team, and they did reply and saw the problems, but they just blame Shopify... It sounds like their developers need to update their integration again so it actually works for ALL of their customers. Additionally they now charge an additional fee ($30 in our case) to use our own carrier account... seriously looking to move on from them...

Really could not be happier with this App. Searched for awhile for a good order processing and shipping software that integrated with Shopify and the other marketplaces that we sell on. Could not be happier with how simple the app was to setup and have been blown away by the level of functionality packed into one affordable app!
Beautiful interface, intuitive to use (maybe because I watched the video!), lots of information right at my fingertips, and quick response and load times.
Superstars ship station!!! love love love this app --took years off my life --sends out automated letters for both stores my website and eBay with customized profile on it and message. I can now advertise my website to eBay users. Remembers my ship choices for items. Adds orders together easily for shipping. Already recommended this app. saving money too.
After nearly a year using ShipStation, I have to say we are quite satisfied overall. While not perfect - there are a few minor bugs here and there - I would definitely say its outperformed all of the other options we'd tried in the past. Absolutely love the built-in scan verification feature for packing orders as it has decreased our fulfillment error rate by over 98%. We've also had no issues with getting in touch with live chat or phone agents who have been able to help us with whatever issue we've encountered.
ShipStation is invaluable for when your business starts to take off. It does so much—easy shipping (of course), batching, and yes, REPORTING. I only have the cheapest Shopify account type so the basic-but-useful reporting is much appreciated. Sure, the interface is dated and could use a tweak here and there (I'm a user experience expert as well, so this could be my bias) but its utility totally compensates for the look & feel. Also, the customer support is fantastic. Write an email and get an answer from a real live human being who speaks fluent English. Hooray!
ShipStation used to be one of the best alternatives used them for many years now with literally no customer suppport, they are nearly unusable. Major intergration issues... buyer beware!
After the initial call with the rep Michael Byrd, we gave it a try. He guided us into how to make things go super smooth, and we are very very happy with the last two months. We used to print and do all the labeling ourselves from copying the address onto an address label sheet, printing it, putting on the package, going to the USPS for hours at a time sometimes, and now we click a few buttons, slap it on the package, and it gets picked up. SO MUCH BETTER!
