After an initial issue I found the customer support to be outstanding ShipStation fixed my issue and the service has improved with the addition of Royal Mail since I signed up.
I highly recommend this app for anyone using multiple Shopify stores, multiple points of sale and multiple shipping locations such as Shipwire, amazon and self shipping. helps to unify everything into a manageable platform with automation tasks.
Getting customer support to answer questions is like pulling teeth. I've had a few occasions where Shipstation wouldn't print, I would make labels in bulk and then couldn't print, and assorted other issues. They take over a week to answer meanwhile you're trying to run a business. Annoying.
We're very impressed with ShipStation, its proving to be a boon for efficiency here at vitrazza. We easily connected with our shopify store and amazon seller account, and then with 3 different shippers we use. The interface is awesome, reports are great and having all our orders aggregated just makes it all so much easier. Highly recommend.
Stay away - I was wrongfully charged for a month's subscription after following the customer service agent's instruction of how to extend a trial and ended up being charged for an extra month also.
I've been attempting to chase this up for over five months now with no reply. This company owes me nearly £80 and seems to have no interest in dealing with it other than avoiding me.
Absolutely ABYSMAL customer service. They only offer chat and email support and both are slow and typically worthless. On top of which, they don't bother to offer support until starting at 9:00 am eastern (country club hours). By that time of the day, if I've got issues with their software, my day's already shot!
WHY ARE THEY SO AFRAID OF THE PHONE????
The software is largely good, but if you're looking for support, go with ShippingEasy! At least they have a phone number and are concerned about customer service.
ShipStation simply doesn't care about its customers or about providing quality customer service!
If you're thinking about using them, try someone else FIRST! If you're already using them, you should be looking around.
I have to echo the other terrible reviews. Yes, the software works until it doesn't. Then, when you're under the gun, orders piling up, and waiting on their awful customer support... you're stuck. I'm jumping ship before the holidays.
This system is retarded, you have to manually go and refresh "update all stores" when orders come in to make sure the orders get pulled from Shopify and then pushed to FBA. The goal of having such is a system is to automate a process and not use manpower, but you still need manpower to update orders.
This is the worst app and customer service possible. Absolutely disgusting. Shipconnect does'nt work half the time, have to refresh the page all the time as it w on't load, always have to manually push orders to be downloaded even thou it's set up on automatic but full of errors and worst of all they can't generate a proper custom invoice . Don't include prepaid tax, shipping or discounts on it so for Europeean brands is an absolute no go.
Extremely difficult to setup, syncing with orders is cumbersome and unreliable. It is frequently importing orders we have already fulfilled through shopify. Its a mess to setup, a mess to use, and support is 50/50 occasionally its great but occasionally its garbage.
Works when it works, but the shipstation connect is not good, the postage is not cheaper, the app is worthless, you can't do anything if not at the office. More time spent fixing stuff that was working then it saves
