This is the 3rd shipping platform I've used with Shopify. ShipStation is by far the best. All of the big shipping platforms contract for very similar rates, so for me its not about saving money. ShipStations support is where they shine. I've never had an outage for more than an hour or so and have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to talk to support, even on weekends or off hours.
This is the one tool that our company could not live without. The amount of time and money it saves us is priceless. The automated rules ensure we are always selecting the cheapest rates possible in a seamless integration. This saves also saves many hours each day so we can utilize our staff for more important tasks. Customer support is amazing as well. We have always gotten quick answers to questions and they always go above and beyond to solve our problems. Special shout out to Chelly Bell the latest rep who helped us find solutions to help save us money and make our dad to day that much easier.
Absolutely love ShipStation! It has streamlined my shipping process and saved me so much time. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to manage orders, and the integration with various platforms is seamless. Customer support is also top-notch—always quick to help. This app will use to be great. It now crashes during each print attempt. You have to login and reset multiple times per day. Submitting tickets to directly to ship station results in fast responses but no results. This is no benefits to either party.
Learn how to print labels Stationstation and stop crashing. Stop releasing new UI's and focus on basics that improve time.
As you can see I have been using this app for many years and they can and should be doing better..

Terrible integration with Shopify.
- If an order is edited (products change, address updated, notes added etc) that edit in Shopify does not flow over to Shipstation. So as a small business owner I need to make the edits twice.
- I have two different warehouses and Shopifys split shipping is not supported as an integration with Shipstation.
- I have an app on Shopify that makes beautiful, branded packing slips and invoices. But these do not travel over to Shipstation so my packages have this totally mediocre packing slip thats not on-brand for my upscale company.
- I sell wholesale on Faire and while Faire and Shopify integrate beautifully when the orders flow through to Shipstation they are all screwed up with testers not registering properly and discounts showing up in a very confusing way. So every time I get a wholesale order through Faire I need to manually email them the packing slip so they can pick and fill correctly.
I love my warehouse but wish they did not need to use Shipstation. I feel Shipstation does not care one bit about the business using Shopify, only about the warehouses.

I've been very happy with ShipStation so far. For the most part, it just works. And for the times that it didn't, some settings adjustments fixed my issues. I find their offering expensive for my size business (really tiny), but it's a situation of you-get-what-you-pay-for.
Customer service has been top notch, even though I'm sure I'm one of their smallest accounts.
Shipstation used to be amazing. It's still decent but lately they have had constant bugs, lag times, down times, stuff doesn't sync right. It's still worth the money but barely.

OK, it's time to leave a review as we've been using ShipStation for a few years now.
The fact is that ShipStation is so much better than any other competitor in the space! Seriously - I've tried tons of other apps just in case, and they all fall far short of the functionality and usability of ShipStation. From automations to every day order management, it's just easier in ShipStation.
I've integrated all of our selling channels - Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay ... and they all work really well.
Sure, there are issues sometimes - every software has issues - but as a small business with only 2 users, we STILL get an actual support rep to help us with issues. Pretty amazing, really.
I love how easy it is to use USB scales and label printers too - that saves us a ton of time. Sometimes we have to restart the ShipStation client to fix an issue, but it works 99% of the time with no issue and is usually one click to weigh or print labels.
TikTok Shop integration is absolutely amazing! It updates quickly which is so important as TikTok Shop wants us to ship super fast - so any delays are a no-go. The app works seamlessly and doesn't require any difficult configurations, providing API keys, managing things in a separate platform, etc. It just works and is SO welcome!
ShipStation just makes our small business run better. With hundreds of orders a month, there's no way we could do things without it.
I like Shipstation but I have small problems about once a month and it gets frustrating.
ShipStation is so easy to use. It walks you completely through the process of shipping your package. It sends notification about upcoming changes to carrier pricing, and services.
It also gives you Shipping analytics which is very helpful.
