I have been using Shopify and Shipstation together for years. They work very well together! While one might say that you can ship straight through Shopify, my team and I have found that Shipstation holds a distinct value in being able to get very granular in your shipping data, reports, automations, and views.
Enough is enough. Periodically, for unknow reason, they lock out our account. Sudden logged out, then 'UNKNOWN ERROR' during login, then 'ACCOUNT LOCKED ' message. Seriously ? We do a business here. Shipsations 'security' is just a joke, apparently made by sort of amateurs, they know nothing how businesses work. With no access to the account, we are unable to ship hundreds of orders placed, until kid from 'support' is so nice and restore the access. Each time needs ask for doing that and wait, wait, wait....Ok guys, play in your room with others, have more fan ! After 10 years time to say GOODBYE !
What we can advice - STAY AWAY ! This is not worth of your time and money.

ShipStation has been a game changer for my business. Managing orders across multiple platforms is now seamless, and the automation tools save me hours every week. The discounted shipping rates are a huge bonus, and the interface is very easy to use. Customer support has also been great whenever I had questions. I highly recommend ShipStation to any small business owner looking to streamline their shipping and grow more efficiently!
User for 8+ years. Shipstation is powerful, but a bit buggy, with occasional small issues to fix. That said they are clearly committed to constant improvement, and consistently are making upgrades and improvements. Support is responsive, I had a tier problem that really frustrated me but to their credit they fixed it. I am continuing forward with SS as a result of that.

Chelly was extremely helpful with setting up Shipstation to work with our shopify store. She has helped answer all of my questions as well as been very understanding when I had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances that all business have. She has made the process fun and enjoyable, when it would have been a total headache otherwise! I highly recommend her :)
We are so happy we made the switch! We have saved time by automating some of our more repetitive shipments, and money with ShipStation's rate shopper tool. Our rep Chelly was awesome, she helped us learn the platform and make sure everything was implemented. Support was able to help us resolve an issue we were having with package insurance.
I have been with ShipStation since 2017 and had a great experience in the past. However, after canceling my subscription for two months (November 2024), trying to restart it in March 2025 has been nothing but a nightmare.
Previously, I would have highly recommended ShipStation to anyone. The chat support was phenomenal—any issue I had was resolved within minutes. It was easily one of my favorite business programs I used that made my life easier and never had an issue. Unfortunately, in 2025, that level of support is nonexistent.
I've encountered problem after problem:
-Unable to log in
-Not receiving emails for code confirmations, password resets, or account activation
-Unable to reconnect my store
-Configuration issues with the app
-Unable to add payment to my account
The amount of time I’ve wasted trying to set everything up again has been frustrating and exhausting. ShipStation has clearly made changes, and not for the better. I can no longer recommend this app to any business owner and have since switched to a new company.

I think I have used shipstation for over a decade first on another e-commerce platform and then after our switch to shopify we took shipstation with us.
Loved shipstation for both platforms until ten days ago as it seems impossible now to print labels all at once.
I have spent so much time each morning trouble shooting and simply put I have made ZERO changes on my end. There clearly is a problem originating within ship station. I wish they would fix it instead of taking up hours of my time that don't resolve anything because the next day it's all the same issue again. I hate change and I have resisted ditching Shipstation for that reason but I just need to let go and find a different app

Shipstation has really helped my small business pull everything together in one place making it so much more effecient. It was a lot to take in at first, but our rep, Chelly made everything so easy. She held my hand through the whole process and made sure everyone on my team was comfortable and very familiar with all of the feautures. I've used ShipStation for many years. It used to work well. Not it's constant technical issues. Get a support ticket completed is very time consuming. Endless back & forth emails. They used to have live support. They charge you to use your own FedEx account. Shopify has better prices so it's not worth the monthly fee and the time and frustration is the largest cost.
