This is the 3rd shipping platform I've used with Shopify. ShipStation is by far the best. All of the big shipping platforms contract for very similar rates, so for me its not about saving money. ShipStations support is where they shine. I've never had an outage for more than an hour or so and have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to talk to support, even on weekends or off hours.

Shipstation support is a joke. They are foolish, ignorant, and will waste your time with multiple basic responses that are as useless as asking if the computer is turned on... IYKYK. Unfortunately this is NOT a 1 time occurrence, it is the norm. For example, I submitted a bug report where the packing slip is literally printing the words "[notes from buyer]" instead of the actual notes from buyer field contents for random orders. I submitted PICTURES of an actual printed packing slip of what it looks like when it generates correctly, and another picture of what it looks like with incorrect generation. I pay extra for an upgraded plan to be able to customize my packing slips. I created this packing slip about 8+ YEARS ago. Shipstations response? Their "answer" is that they do not help with HTML. Uuuuuhm NO this is NOT an HTML issue whatsoever, and they'd know this if they looked at my example pictures even just once. JUST ONCE. LOOK. AT. THE. PICTURES! If I did the HTML wrong I would not have an example of a correct packing slip generation, right? This is just ONE packing slip template that's affected, and it's random orders. But it'll be a miracle if I have to waste less than 10 emails just to get them to even check out the bug. The crazy thing is that back in the day, around 10+ years ago an English speaking USA based support rep used to pick up the phone and call you. Imagine that!

Absolutely love ShipStation! It has streamlined my shipping process and saved me so much time. This app will use to be great. It now crashes during each print attempt. You have to login and reset multiple times per day. Submitting tickets to directly to ship station results in fast responses but no results. This is no benefits to either party.

Learn how to print labels Stationstation and stop crashing. Stop releasing new UI's and focus on basics that improve time.

As you can see I have been using this app for many years and they can and should be doing better..

Terrible integration with Shopify.
- If an order is edited (products change, address updated, notes added etc) that edit in Shopify does not flow over to Shipstation. So as a small business owner I need to make the edits twice.
- I have two different warehouses and Shopifys split shipping is not supported as an integration with Shipstation.
- I have an app on Shopify that makes beautiful, branded packing slips and invoices. But these do not travel over to Shipstation so my packages have this totally mediocre packing slip thats not on-brand for my upscale company.
- I sell wholesale on Faire and while Faire and Shopify integrate beautifully when the orders flow through to Shipstation they are all screwed up with testers not registering properly and discounts showing up in a very confusing way. So every time I get a wholesale order through Faire I need to manually email them the packing slip so they can pick and fill correctly.
I love my warehouse but wish they did not need to use Shipstation. I feel Shipstation does not care one bit about the business using Shopify, only about the warehouses.

This is the one tool that our company could not live without. The amount of time and money it saves us is priceless. The automated rules ensure we are always selecting the cheapest rates possible in a seamless integration. This saves also saves many hours each day so we can utilize our staff for more important tasks. Customer support is amazing as well. ShipStation helps us manage multiple sales channels on one shipping platform. The integrations are smooth, and when we needed help, the account setup assistance was amazing! We have been able to streamline so many SOPs and our quick shipping department is now scary fast and accurate. A+

Shipstation used to be amazing. It's still decent but lately they have had constant bugs, lag times, down times, stuff doesn't sync right. It's still worth the money but barely.

I've downgraded my 3 star review to 2 stars. Constant login issues. Every time they "upgrade or update" their system and/or platform, the issues seem to be worse.

Be prepared to trouble shoot on a consistent basis.
