This app is the absolute BEST. Payment for claims are ultra fast ( a couple days) and painless. This beats filing a claim with the shipping carriers whom you never hear back from. Highly recommend for any online business!
What a pleasure to deal with! The process has been seamless since we began and the customer service is incredible! We'v tried 3 insurance companies in 3 years and this is by far the best. Don't hesitate!
We switched from Route to Shiptection and so far we've been really pleased with the service. They made setup super easy, we love how you can customize the branding of the shipping insurance plan, and the profit sharing model makes it a no brainer. Really happy we made the switch.

Seamless integrations, with expedited claims processing way better and faster then other large provider with no stress of massive group payments being taken out and non scheduled times great billing great company love having them protect our customers shipments and our customers think the same
ShipTection has been working really great for us after switching over to it from Route. We were having plenty of problems with Route in regards to denied claims or being too late to submit a claim due to the tight time windows for submission. We really got killed by international shipments, as those typically take longer to deliver, and a 30-day window is not enough. The claims window for ShipTection is much better, and the claims submission process is much smoother as well. For any claim, the ShipTection team handles all the work with helping my customers through the process and setting up a refund or replacement shipment. They are backed by InsureShip, and it's been solid so far. We ran into a couple of bugs during the setup process of the app, but their developer worked with us to iron things out, and things have been working well ever since. So if you're tired of Route, you can't go wrong with ShipTection.
We recently switched to Shiptection from Route. I will say we're very happy with how things worked out and the support that we're getting from them. They're 100% legit!
So far we are very happy with ShipTection. Everything has been great, customer service, support and communication. Really happy to work with Will and the team rather than some of the more corporate type alternatives. Highly recommend ShipTection.
Great app, great support and great concept. From downloading the app to getting it running the way that I wanted on my webstore the team at ShipTection has been excellent. I would 100% recommend this app to anyone that I know, and I've already recommended it to one store. Hopefully they will take advantage of this great app.
Sadly have come back to change my review to 1 star. Shiptection put on a very false front making you think they actually offer what they are advertising but after using them for a prolonged period we have found they are just another typical insurer who only has their interest at heart, not the customers. We have had constant glitches with the app when it was turned on to automatic, which heavily impacted our conversion rate. We chose to remove it from the site and move to manual adding, this is when everything came unstuck. At the point we weren’t insuring every order the claim rejection began, then they sneakily tried to turn our insurance on the auto add which meant we were paying insurance on all orders without consenting to it. When I addressed this our manual function stopped working, so we emailed asking them to add the insurance for us. Without explanation they contacted us telling we are no longer insurable - we have had extremely minimal claims and the last few were all rejected. Apparently if they can’t take advantage of you and force you to pay insurance on every order, whether it’s needed or not, it’s not beneficial to insure you. Your options are - have insurance on your website and have a glitchy site that affects conversion, or ask for manual B2B insurance and be rejected for your claims because you aren’t paying them enough. 100% steer clear!

When we notified the merchant, we told them we would honor all policies while providing refunds for all recent transactions. We spent significant resources internally to try to make ShipTection work for the merchant and were hoping to part ways on good terms.
App Performance on Site: Our team reviewed ShipTection’s functionality on their site but other 3rd party apps continued to interfere with our app. We agreed that removing ShipTection from the cart was the best idea until we had a different solution.
B2B ShipTection: Regarding B2B ShipTection malfunctioning, we have hundreds of sites using it and no one else has reported an issue. We checked logs for errors and never saw any app performance issues. We also never changed any settings without the merchants consent.
