Just started with Shogun and the builder seems really solid and effective ! Every time I have a question, support team answers really quickly even on sundays. For now, I REALLY recommand this app !

This is a good app and makes developing a page much easier and much quicker but it is really expensive for what it is and after the page is set it, I need to keep paying forever. Can't remove shogun after the page is set up since it breaks everything

We appreciate the kind words. I'm sorry to hear that your Shogun experience wasn't entirely positive. We can certainly understand your concerns regarding the cost.
I believe there may be a misunderstanding of how Shogun can be used with your site. Shogun is not required to be installed to keep your pages live. Shogun can be uninstalled without losing any pages created within the app. The only caveat is that the pages created within Shogun cannot be modified unless Page Builder is installed.

Shogun Page Builder
Straight foward and very easy to use in general, however I would like the app to be completely integrated with the actual admin back-end.

Arguably the BEST page builder app on any platform. We have over 800 pages of content at Warriorlodge.com. Shogun made our otherwise plain and boring pages into a functional and beautiful experience for our visitors.
Ease of use: For someone with absolutely no experience, there is a small learning curve. Nothing too bad. Just play around with the elements for 30 minutes and you'll get the hang of it. Not to mention the templates that come packaged for those that want to "plug-and-play." For those with experience, this will be a breeze.
Integration with Shopify: Seamless. You will have to edit pages in the Shogun app, save your work and then publish. Any future changes you want to make on a page must be done in the Shogun app, not from Shopify.
Support: Fast and polite. 'Nuff said.

great app. Helps me make the changes I need without needing to know code. Once you understand how to use it, it's all good.
The interface is pretty straightforward. I ran into a snag with getting my site's fonts to show up correctly and Colby helped me get it all sorted out. It's great knowing that their customer service is so responsive and supportive.

Shogun Page Builder
This is perhaps the best app I have used so far. It is very easy to use. Anytime I find something that I think is going to need custom coding, I find a tutorial already written, not to mention that the Shogun team will get back to you very quickly if you need anything else. 5 Stars+++. I can't say enough good things about the app. It really offered everything that I needed to create a complex sales page without the expense of an outside developer.
it made setting up the site easier but after that you are locked into shogun. if i delete this and then try to make any edits on the site the entire thing breaks.

Our team have tried to give you a call but it appears that the phone number that we have on file for you is invalid. We have also sent you a follow-up email to clear up the confusion.
When pages are edited outside of Shogun, Shopify does strip some Shogun code out of the page - this is not something that we have control over as it is up to Shopify themselves. Re-publishing the page via Shogun will resolve any issues that you have with this.
If you want to edit your page via Shopify, we would recommend using the "revert page" option that is available through the dashboard.
I would ask that you reply to the email that was sent your way so that we can help you with your issues.

Very easy to use and a huge step up on Shopify's standard blog/page builder.
Overall a very positive addition to our store and would definitely recommend to others.
A few slight tweaks could improve the overall experience:
Mobile optimsation doesn't display exactly as it does on a mobile device. The 'advanced settings' box are difficult to input data in to as you can't see what numbers you're putting in. Bit of guesswork needed.
The in app picture compression/editing software does not always work well enough to use.
