This app is nothing short of incredible. If you do not know HTML, CSS, or have ANY CLUE what Liquid coding is, and you are dissatisfied with the static nature of the average Shopify theme, and feel trapped inside of your page with no way out -- THEN THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU.

Allows you to make extremely major changes to your page without having to know the code. BRILLIANT. AND THEIR SUPPORT TEAM IS INCREDIBLE AS WELL. You may be thinking, "Well, forty dollars a month is a lot to shell out for ...." WELL GUESS WHAT: You get a ten day free trial, and after that, IF YOU GET RID OF THE APP AT ANY TIME, AND ALL THE CHANGES YOU MADE USING SHOGUN STICK AROUND AFTER.

I am only giving four stars for now, because they are working on improving some things - but that's the other thing. THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORKING ON IT. I looked up a FAQ on how to do something, and it was not able to be done. THE NEXT DAY, THEY HAD A FAQ UP EXPLAINING HOW TO DO IT. And their support chat feature, gee golly gosh - they are usually EXTREMELY responsive, and only take about ten minutes to get back to you - EVEN IF it is AFTER 5 pm.

In Long, this app is thebomb.com and you should add it to your store RIGHT NOW. And pay them for at least a month of the subscription. THEY WORK HARD AND THEY DESERVE IT.

It's pretty darn good. I have very little coding background and was able to do this easy. It's not 100% super sleak on look on various platforms in terms of looks, but for the money I don't think you could find any better. 100% recommend.

Overall good experience and the app allows you to make nice looking pages. I have been using it for 4+ years now.

We are only new to this app so working our way through. Seems good so far, but just trying to work out a couple of little things (we are amateurs though!) Would really like to to see the snippet version translate into a template that that can just be selected and auto populate rather than manually select the images etc that are sitting in the shopify store already.

wish there were more customization available like there is in Elementor.. Elementor is cheaper and can do more in wordpress but shogun does the job for now.

You can create some really slick, modern, and professional-looking sites with Shogun. The interface is pretty straightforward and simple, but can be a bit clunky when trying to rename elements or navigating the sidebar in general. Lots of options for responsive elements and you can even edit elements to only appear at certain resolutions - making it possible to have a mobile and desktop version of a page that are completely different. The staff is quick and responsive to questions! Kalen Christ and Sweetan Mankotia both were very helpful and polite. I will happily continue using Shogun!

Very easy to navigate & use. I started off knowing nothing on how to use it but thanks to the tutorials and practice, I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Now I'm producing blog content & special pages for my company with ease.

UPDATED: Well, the app itself is fine, I felt it was pretty cheeky that when I updated to have the 3rd user again (had to update the app) I now only had 25 pages at my disposal when I was using 58 pages on the older version, so I had to upgrade to the $99USD a month plan to have them all work again. Before I left this review I messaged the CS team to express my disappointment and they really came to the party, they accepted my position on the pricing and page numbers, and even though my initial response was I will just pay the $99 they offered a slightly higher page limit (as we have 58 pages on Shogun) for the $39 cost. I still think that a lot of the app developers get their pricing models wrong, that if they were moderately priced they would get more customers and therefore more revenue. We are a low key customer that doesn't need a lot of support for the $ we pay. Thanks Shogun.

Despite occasional frustrations with user-friendliness of this app, I'd like to compliment Andre from the Shogun support team. He provided excellent/prompt support on a somewhat major issue I was experiencing. I would suggest having patience with the app, and would recommend submitting a support ticket when issues arise.
