Shogun ‑ Landing Page Builder

great app - only thing missing is a BLOG insert onto a page... it's not a cheap app and for someone like me using for profile pages, the 20 some free pages add up quick. not sure if im going to stick with it based on price and limit on pages as im a small business, but i do love it and easy to use.

I've used them all...Shogun is the best. Using a template is convenient but sometimes you need 1-2 pages that are crucial where the aesthetics and funnel have to be particularly nuanced, so the customer can stay focused, and BUY. For that, there's Shogun. It's easier and more versatile than the other ones I've tried.

What a great secret weapon to increase the functionality of my site. I come from the old school WordPress days (can't believe I'm even sayin' that). Time-consuming, but I liked the ability to customize stuff in WP. When we moved to Shopify the simplicity was amazing, but we were limited because we don't have any real developers on the team. All that is out the window now with Shogun. Dare I say, game changer? Plus, Nick (one of the founders) and the team have been incredibly helpful and quite responsive, even with questions I have that seem outside their scope. Great app. Great team. Would recommend Shogun to anyone looking to build custom landing pages. I was not paid or incentivized to write this. Just truly thankful.

This quote is from Shogun's shopify FAQ page:

"Although there is not yet a way to "apply to all", and set this new page layout as your Shopify product page layout for all your pages, this helps you edit your existing Shopify product pages for custom page layouts."

read this as, if you want to use shogun to edit your product's page layout -- you need to edit each product, one at a time. This also includes category pages etc. This app treats your store as a huge array of individual pages that you need to edit individually. Great tool for making custom one off pages. Terrible if you are hoping to use this to build a custom theme. -4 Stars because they got my hopes up. +1 star because of the free trial.

This app allows for you to build pages quickly. I like the tool sets it provides. It starts to fall short when you want to do global font styles, lists, and advanced customization. The fact that it's almost like a theme within the main shopify theme leaves room for problems. That being said, it's a great tool and it will only improve with time.

I've been using the Shogun app for a while now, and I couldn't be more impressed with their customer support and response time. It's not every day that you come across an app that excels in both functionality and customer service.

Whenever I've encountered any issues or had questions about the app's features, their support team has been nothing short of amazing. They are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also incredibly responsive. I've never had to wait for more than a few hours to receive a helpful and thorough response.
