We needed an easy way for non-tech-savvy team members to create and edit content on our Shopify shop. Shogun was a great choice for us. It has most of the features you would look for in a content manager. And if you need help, the support team are fast and friendly. What I would like to see is more options for the slideshow, akin to the Slick Slider library. Also it would be nice if there was a free plan for development stores.

Warning! If you use this app and want to pause it so you don't have to pay the fee while not using it they will not do that. You have to delete the app and then after a couple months all your saved info is deleted. This means when you reload it and try to use it most of the information on each page is gone and you have to rebuild the majority of each page. Buttons, links to other pages and everything!

I'm really glad we found Shogun, it's helped us take the next step with the design of our site. Our page layouts are now so easy to build and they look great. Shogun has all the functions we need to add to the pages too. In my 'other job' we design and build websites and finding the balance between function and form without a huge amount of coding is difficult to find – I feel Shogun finds that balance with Shopify and makes adding a new page an enjoyable task.

The ultimate page builder app. I've tried Hypervisual, Gem Pages, and Shogun and between the 3, Shogun encompasses all of those apps plus more.
The best part about Shogun is the great help I've received whenever I've had trouble. Would recommend to anyone that wants to customize any page of their website.

I don't don't write many reviews so this is an anomaly. I am about a month into using Shogun. How is it going? A few days of Wow - this is really great! The First Date).

Then about a week of mild confusion and frustration as I was working on how to really wring it out. (Getting to know you). Submitted about a half dozen requests for help to support. I live in China to different time zones but I always awoke to a response to my questions. Really good support.

Now I am on the fast path and can do pretty much anything I can think of to improve my site & store. OK - there are a few quirks and wrinkles (just like my wife) but I have just learned to adjust and love them both.

What do I really like: Adding the ability to edit COLLECTIONS was HUGHe for me - thank you so much. It tied it all together and really made my site work. Also, Snippets. I went for three weeks without really taking a look at SNIPPETS and then Eureka!. I have used Snippets to customize the header section of all of my collection pages and it has made life sooooo much easier.

Keep up the good work Shogun. The only thing on my wish list is being able to put two columns in a box and write text and have it wrap to the next column and around images. I can still make it work but a little time-consuming.

Highly recommended. I could not have built my site without it. by the way - I am using the theme: Kagami from Maestrooo. It has integrated without a problem using Shogun as my primary page editor.

I have been using shogun for about one year. Everything is great, page design is awesome. You can even add products automatically to any page.

Makes page creation very easy - great app! I use it for landing pages and galleries specifically... core Shopify functionality does not really lend itself to that easily.
