I don't understand their pricing and how the price continues to increase for the Build plan - the app is kind of clunky too.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what is not clear with our pricing? The Build plan active on your account is the old Build plan that comes with extra pages. If you don't wish to stay on this old Build plan and if you would like to activate the new Build plan you are free to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. When you reinstall you should be prompted to select the new Build plan on the pick a plan page.
I see you were in a conversation with my colleague, however, could you also share more details about how the app is being clunky for you?

The landing page building works good. My issue is with the support and lack of transparency in fixing glitches and issues with the landing pages.
I reported a glitch in Jan 2024 (the team at shogun confirmed) which was affecting the conversion rate of my landing pages (variant buttons hover / focus / active style).
The support team kept saying "it is on the roadmap to fix" but now in July 2024, they just ignore my requests for updates.
It's disappointing that a good product is being shaded by a lack of transparency and communication.

Used this on Bigcommerce for years then moved to shopify. Better and less expensive alternatives like Gempages out there. Also, this will install a ton of code in your theme that you will have to remove manually if you uninstall it. Shogun did not respond to our numerous emails for help to remove this code. We eventually got rid of it all but beware if you decide not to keep using this.

Also, every app adds code to the theme, that's how apps work. Our app installs minimal code to ensure your pages work, even when you uninstall the app. Our team responds to each and every email we receive, however, if you didn't receive a reply, could you share more details with our team at support@getshogun.com?
Our team will also be happy to provide you with resources on how to easily remove the Shogun code from the theme.

The customer support is good, the the app itself is pretty bad. Very hard to build landing pages, poor navigation, brutal formatting for mobile.

I see you were looking to create a form and connect the same with a third-party form app/service. For such instances, it is best to embed the form directly from the form service as suggested by the team. The embed form is not something you can control using Shogun, but our HTML element will populate what is pasted there.

Once you use Shogun you're locked in. They have repeatedly changed features and changed their pricing which results in broken pages, missing features that we once had, and difficulties site wide. Customer support is slow to respond. You guys suck.

Thanks for leaving your feedback with us. While we change our plans' pricing and add new features, necessitating shuffling features to different plans, we never take features off of users, nor do we force you onto new plans.
Once the app is persistently installed, you've always got to keep the feature set you are familiar with. Pages, therefore, will not spontaneously break. As I understand, the features that were missing were found to be still available, only slightly moved in the UI with the editor design refresh.
Customer support is available 24/7 through email, where we aim to respond to every email within 24 hours, and live chat, where we can be reached most hours within a couple of minutes.
I know we were chatting recently about this, and if you have any specific queries not addressed in our more recent interaction, please reply to that same thread or reach out to our team, and we'd be more than happy to assist you.
