Initially I was pretty upset with this app because while it is easy to use and has lots of features it looked terrible on the mobile version of my site. At this point I got so frustrated with it that I responded to an email they had sent me before asking about my experience in a pretty negative way. Not even 5 minutes later I received a call from Nick the Co-founder of Shogun who apologized to me about my experience and gave me a full refund even though I was not looking for one. The people behind this app have incredible customer service and seem to genuinely care if you have a negative experience using it. In hindsight I think it was me using it incorrectly that caused the mobile version to look so bad. Go ahead and give this app a try you will not be disappointed!
edit: I've changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. I still have occasional issues with this app regarding formatting or things not being as expected. But they do have pretty quick responses from customer service (maybe an hour on average) and this has made my website look much better without needing the help of a professional designer. But don't try to make any last-minute changes or update your home page right before a big traffic event, because if you have a design error it can be very frustrating and there's no one to call/chat for immediate help on the basic plan.

I've had nothing but problems with this app. It's easy to use but the functionality glitches often. My live pages look nothing like the design because of errors. The support team is nice but they don't have live help, you have to wait for an email. Wish I could just talk to a human. I have to keep the app installed until I finish my project but I can't wait to delete this. When it works successfully, it's a great tool but I am pretty frustrated quite often with this app.
Hi Julia! Sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing. It sounds like you may have been experiencing parity issues with Shogun. There is not parity between Shogun and Shopify's editors at this time. If a small change was made within Shopify to your page this could have caused the issue. Republishing the page should fix the issue. While we do not generally offer phone support we'd be happy to make an exception to help you work through this issue and help resolve any problems you're having. The support is good! The app does a lot of what I need it to. I wish there were more integrations and that the existing integrations worked more seamlessly. It would also be helpful if they linked to instructions from the integration setup section or in the editor so that if there are specific steps that must be followed, it's easy to access that.

Shogun Page Builder
I've started getting familiar with Shogun and finds it easy and structured to serve business and promote sales and revenue growth
I used this app to create landing pages, product collection pages, and product pages. The app is very versatile, it takes a little playing around with to get the hang of it, but if you have any questions the customer service is amazing! This app has allowed me to customize my Shopify store so much, and create really effective marketing pages. If you are paying for any type of digital advertising and not creating custom landing pages you are missing out and there is no better app to use than Shogun.
The team has been super helpful in helping us accomplish our goal which is to create on brand and dynamic blog pages. Still new to the platform - but super promising!

I lost hours of work with this buggy software. I made some edits on the page, clicked saved then publish then viewed the live page and none of the edits I made appeared on the page. I then made sure to click save then publish again several times and everytime I did that it displays that the page is published but it's still not showing in the live page. When I exit out of the page I am editing then entered again, everything that I made in the last few hours were gone.
UPDATED: Dr. Bakhtiar- the engineering team isolated the issue, and this is now fixed. Again, apologies for the inconvenience. We are happy to provide a refund as our way of showing our gratitude. Thank you.
Dr. Bakhtiar- first of all, I want to extend deep apologies here, I am sure that is an incredibly frustrating experience. Our engineering team has been combing over the code and attempting to replicate the error. It seems only you and one other client had an issue here (still unacceptable). We are on top of it.
