Shogun ‑ Landing Page Builder

We have tried several drag/drop Apps for our Shopify store and this one leaves the rest behind without comparison. In combination with our Out of the Sandbox theme - Shogun provides incredibly powerful customizations on all our pages including home and product pages. Their solution includes very sophisticated tools for controlling desktop vs. mobile views to SEO on images - we have been to recreate all of our site designs exactly as imagined thanks to Shogun.

In addition (and as importantly) they also have INCREDIBLE service and support from their team and founders. From styling adjustments to customizations they provided very easy to insert code snippets which allow us to control these variations on each page / element as we wish.

We highly recommend Shogun as a premium tool for anyone looking to create a beautifully designed / content rich site!!

Would love to see how the app works! Nobody can help make it work for me after 3 hours and tech support is nonexistent on weekends. Getting back you you in 48 hours is not OK for paying hundreds per month.

I use this app currently. I wanted to customize my product page in a way that just wasn't possible with any template.

Shogun is great for this - in fact it's the only way to really get what you want in Shopify, We spent a lot on themes that just couldn't do it. We use the Debut theme with shogun.

Any Issues I have had are handled personally and successfully, which is important when you're a small business.

The reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that it does not work with other shopify apps and anything that is not in Shogun will require a dev.

While the plugin does a good job with standard page creation there are limitations when editing product specific pages. The contact form that comes with Shogun is too basic and doesn't have enough options. Depending on what font you use in the text boxes you may experience issues with your font reverting back to default web fonts while viewing your pages on different browsers and devices. There are a few other kinks that need to be ironed out before the subscription price can be fully justified.... however I will say that the Shogun team has been great at responding to my concerns and providing short-term solutions while they improve their platform. All in all, out of the other available page builders for Shopify I found Shogun to be the most user-friendly with minimal bugs. I would love to see the Shogun team look at Visual Composer plugin for Word Press for inspiration as they have built a pretty robust page builder for that platform. Keep it up!

I reached out to Shogun regarding ability to do drop down forms. Unfortunately this basic function is not yet available. Hoping this can be improved on as it's a basic form function that will definitely help with our customer experience and ability to track and respond appropriately do specific answers they provide. I will say support was very quick to respond and empathized that this is something that is important and that they were working to add it.

This app is the best app to happen to my Shopify Store... no joke. Seriously recommend it and getting top tier plan. The support is so helpful!!

The support for Shogun is top notch, they even helped me fix my theme header and footer without any hesitation. Shogun is the page builder I recommend to anyone who is looking for a start in E-commerce

I used this app for all our stores layout and it is a unique experiences. It would be great if it can centralise all the content with multiple languages.

I have used Shogun for nearly a year now. I use it to create landing pages. It's very intuitive with nice features. Though, I wish I could use the content scheduler without upgrading to the hightest tier.

I docked a star because the workflow in the layout tab could be better. Plus, it has hung on me few times (though not recently). Once to the point a refresh didn't even fix it.

I had to reach out to support to fix the issue. Fortunately, their support is great and responds quickly.

Easy handling but just until a certain point. If you try to create your own templates the designs are not responsive and not optimized for mobile view. Definitely room for improvement. Three stars for the self explaining structure.
