Shogun is great - it's helped us build a lot of our pages on our site with ease. My only complaint is that it is quite resource intensive with a lot of back end codes, so it does slow down our website a little. Outside of that optimization, this page builder has worked really well for us.

I used this app to help me create a unique page without any coding experience. It's simple and straightforward, better than its competitors. The only problem is that once you use it to build your site, you're pretty much locked in to its payment plan.

The support team is great, responsive and helpful. However, the builder is just not good enough. Needs a lot of improvement in flexibility and UX. Still, this is the best one out of the three builders I have tried.

Overall: very good app!

I came across quite a few bugs unless I used Google Chrome, which is not a big deal but still a little annoying.

Here is a list of things that would make it even better:
- easy editing of collection pages (I know there is a workaround)
- easy creating of a section that can then be used on the landing page (if there already is a solution, please let me know).

This app really helped me think of ideas and what not, but it certainly is a price jump. I can't afford it anymore.

I would use the Shogun app again, and I would recommend it. Having experience using Leadpages, I understood the basics of how landing pages work, but it did take some time to learn how to use Shogun within the context of a Shopify store which uses apps. There is a slight learning curve, however, if you take the time to watch their tutorial videos (sometimes more than once), you will eventually get the hang of it. It only took me a few days of solid practice to get to a point where I felt I could get the look and feel of my landing page right. I think there is some room for improvement regarding the drag and drop feature of the landing page elements. If I needed to move a section (box background) from the bottom to the top of my page, then I had to drag it into another section and keep working my way up, section by section, until I got to the top. I'm not sure if that was a browser issue (Google Chrome), but it would be nice if the landing page automatically scrolled up as I tried to drag each section. I like the Layout tab because it allows me to more easily select sections of my landing page to edit them (especially once you have so many elements in a box background that it makes it hard to actually select the box background only). It would be even better if they had a drag and drop option on the Layout tab as well, so I could quickly rearrange my landing page without having to scroll up and down the landing page itself. All-in-all, I thinks it’s a good addition to any Shopify store.

I've been using this app and I haven't had many problems at all although once or twice there will possibly be a small bug here or there while saving but overall a great app if you don't want to learn to fully code when creating a site.

I did a free trial with this company. Since they have short trial period, i installed the software, tested it out and then deleted the app. Couple days later after testing out several other options for the same result , i forgot to test another feature that was a must for myself and installed the app again Apparently by installing the software then removing it, and doing it again because of the short trial period, it triggered two charges on my account. One for each trial. Not only is the trial period too short, not only did the they charge my account twice for the same app, i didn't find what i was looking for with the software provided

Nick, contacted myself and clarified the reasoning of the short trial and I agree with him on that, as i did not realize the reasoning for their decision. Having said that, I am now re-evaluating the software again as Nick mentioned a feature that i now need to try again out the software again. Plus a review below mentioned that new updates are coming which will add to the tools and functionality available. This error in payment actually helped me look at this software again, as I was hitting a road block for what I was looking for.

Nick mentioned about 3 months ago that some new updates where coming. I also just reviewed on Sept 19, 2016 couple new editions to the app store as competition. The good news, this will now increase the features and tools for page creation which shopify has been lacking in the past. Will be interesting to see how all these 3 new apps now compete against each other.

It can be complicated if you don't use it all the time but the support team is awesome and answers your questions right away - live chat! Once you get used to it shogun is very powerful and allows way more creativity than standard templates.
