Shop

I’ve been using the Shop app for two months now, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen any increase in traffic or sales. I initially installed it under the impression that it would help run my ads and drive visibility, but so far, the results haven't met those expectations. It would be great to see more actionable insights or features that actually help boost traffic to the store.

Shop has been a valuable sales channel for our business. The customer experience is excellent, order tracking is straightforward, and the integration with Shopify saves time. We appreciate the platform and hope to see even more marketing and seller tools in future updates.

Caution to retailers outside US. If customer buys your product using their Shop App account, they charge the customer US taxes and remit it immediately! And you have to pay the credit card fees to collect it. BUT if the order is cancelled and refunded for any reason, Shopify refunds the customer but make YOU pay the taxes even with the order cancelled and refunded!

Here is the interesting part, if the same US customer shops directly on your Shopify store, they pay no tax!

This is all because of a court ruling that Shopify 's shop app store is considered a US seller and must charge US tax.

My store has received many sales via Shop and they all go through smoothly. I’ve never experienced any issues. I appreciate this extra channel to sell my products.

I would like to be able able to add titles on the email images. Also more flexibility in the footer however I am also disappointed that I could not find our products when searching at shop.com
