Shop Pay has been a great sales channel for my Shopify store. The checkout experience is fast, simple, and convenient for customers, which helps improve conversion rates. I would love to see even more visibility and promotion opportunities for merchants, especially for newer stores and trending products. Better marketing support and increased product discovery within the Shop app could help businesses reach more customers and grow sales. Overall, it's a valuable platform and I appreciate the continuous improvements being made.
I’ve been using the Shop app and it’s been a great experience so far. It’s really easy to use, with a clean and intuitive interface that makes managing everything simple. Since I started using it, I’ve also noticed a boost in sales, which has been a huge plus. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward and effective tool for their business!
The Shop App is a very useful addition to Shopify and overall I really like what the team has created. The mobile-focused shopping experience feels modern, clean, and premium, especially for visual brands.
One challenge I experienced was with the Hero section image ratio. It can be difficult to correctly position and scale the hero image because the editor preview does not fully match the real appearance on an actual iPhone during live usage. Sometimes the composition looks different on the real device compared to the editor preview.
Another thing worth mentioning is that design updates are not fully real-time. In many cases it takes around 30–60 minutes before visual changes appear correctly inside the Shop App, which makes fine-tuning the layout a bit slower.
An additional suggestion from the perspective of an ART-focused store:
It would be very helpful to have a dedicated “Art” or “Home Decor / Wall Art” discovery category inside the Shop ecosystem — especially for digital artwork and non-physical products. Currently it can be difficult for customers to discover digital art stores quickly through search.
Despite these points, the platform is very promising and I genuinely enjoy using it.
My store has received many sales via Shop and they all go through smoothly. I’ve never experienced any issues. I appreciate this extra channel to sell my products.

I’ve been using the Shop app for two months now, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen any increase in traffic or sales. I initially installed it under the impression that it would help run my ads and drive visibility, but so far, the results haven't met those expectations. It would be great to see more actionable insights or features that actually help boost traffic to the store.
Love Shopify - hate Shop app (today, because we are on sale and Shop App decided to auto apply discount codes to customer orders and there is NO WHERE I CAN FIND TO TURN THIS OFF). If we want a customer to be able to use a discount code, we would give it to them. Auto applying internal 100% off codes is cooked. Please change background settings and give us an option to turn OFF auto-apply of discount codes.
We've been very happy using the Shop app. The accelerated checkout makes the purchasing process incredibly quick and seamless for customers, and we've noticed an improvement in our conversion rate since enabling it. Anything that removes friction at checkout is a big win for an online store.
