The 3 choice limit means you can't bundle two shirts together because that would be 4 choices (size twice and color twice). This is the silliest limitation ever...perhaps designed to push you to pay for extra addon spend that Shopify makes a % from? The same for showing discounts! What online store doesn't allow you to display discounts clearly - Shopify doesn't! ugh

We recently shipped an improvement to allow repeat bundle options such as size and color to be combined (https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/combine-repeat-bundle-options). Please take a look at the feature. We would love to hear your feedback on whether this improves the first issue you mentioned.

We use bundles for 90% of the products we sell. HOWEVER, we have to create MAJOR work around to promote these on social ads. Bundles means we can’t use any of the native social sales channels. Reporting sucks because we have to create special reports to see sales data.
Bundles do not flow into Triple Whale but all the individual items do. As a result, we can’t see which bundle is the top seller.
The only benefit is the individual products flow into NetSuite so we can keep our inventory accurate.
Come on Shopify, Q4 is here…isn’t it time this is fixed?

Useless!!! We have two separate warehouses in two different countries, therefore two different locations set up in Shopify. One location ships within Switzerland exclusively, the other supplies the EU and the rest of the world. The app cannot manage different location's inventory - it says "Inventory for bundles is shared across all locations." This makes the app absolutely useless for anyone with different locations.

It seems like it should have worked for the simple task I needed, but it limited the number of variants I could bundle AND it didn't list any single-variant product in the checkout which would have caused an issue with customers. This app could be a great solution, they just need to refine it.

Right now the bundels don't work like intendet. A few months ago it worked like a charm. My customers can't put the bundels in to the cart and if they can, the shop denies to purchase all products of a bundel after a random number of prducts (every time the same number per product). This is unaccaptable. Please fix this asap.

Shopify announced that they increased their variant limit to 2000 back in ...January? But still has not rolled it out. This greatly limits the bundling app.

Worse things:
1. When I make a bundle it loses all knowledge of the original products offered variants and tries to combine aspects of a listing that never were options. (aka a pair of a book with rope offered in a few thicknesses and colors wont import the knowledge from the original rope listing about which colors are in which thicknesses)

2. No bulk editing. This is ridiculous. But the items created by the bundling app cant be bulk edited. This means every price has to be opened and set manually one at a time for each variation.

3. Unwanted variants have to be deleted one at a time. This means any excess variants the bundle app creates (see issue 1) have to be slowly deleted one by 1 (regular shopify products support deleting a few variants at once...)

4. No "optional" flag for making a bundle. Every item we bundle MUST be purchased by the customer all together. Meaning customers cannot choose to mix and match a kit of their own with rope and shears and books and rings. We have to set "this kit comes with all these things, take it or leave it"

it doesn't work! We make bundles of for example 5 products and only 3 of them get into the basket of the customer. This app is horrible, we put in so much work in it and then suddenly it doesn't take the products, this is so frustrating! Why do you publish this app if it doesn't work yet?

Terrible App. Doesnt even work. We added the bundles and it always said products are out of stock eventho we had stock on all products. Shopify Support said its an issue with the theme which is a joke considering it has nothing to do with the front end and only with the backend. Absolute Joke

While it's a free app, it should be as it's virtually useless. The limit for products is way too low, and the the bundle functionality doesn't actually work - it just line lists out skus that make up the bundle with individual pricing. I'm not sure what the point of this app is, but go elsewhere.
