Thanks Shopify for launching this but it needs a lot of work before it works for me.

The pricing and weight information doesn't pull through from individual products to the bundle. This means that I have to manually add up the weights and prices associated with the bundle, and if I want to make changes to the weight or price of an individual product that's in a bundle, I have to do it in two locations (i.e. the product and bundle).

What's more, there's no option for customers to choose quantity 0 which is odd given that they can choose other quantities. This is really useful for recipe bundles where the customer already has some of the ingredients.

Shopify has purposefully hamstrung this app in order to avoid stepping on the toes of app developers.

It only works on the Online Store channel. That's right; Bundles won't work on Shopify POS or anything other sales channel.

Shopify is generating so much money from app revenue kickbacks that they are unwilling to provide feature-complete first-party apps to solve problems that should already be part of the main product. Any point of sale program worth its salt has this feature. But with Shopify, that comes at the price of yet another monthly subscription.

Bug/Error? I have a bundle that I want to apply custom shipping profile too. The items within the bundle are otherwise part of the general shipping profile.
I can assign the bundle to my custom shipping profile. When checking out, the shipping rate shown is not the custom one, but the general profile.

Original Review: This app is a start, but for something that should be CORE functionality in a marketplace platform, it really underdelivers.

My biggest surprise... Doesn't support POS. Online only.

Does not work on any sales channels. Does not even work on POS. Useless until it works on all sales channels.

Unfortunately the app does not allow branded dynamic checkout buttons with bundles.

Absolute trash, here's why:
- does NOT support subscriptions (I use Appstle and it won't let me add a bundle to subscription because of the Bundle app's limitations)
- if you update an individual product as part of the bundle, it'll get automatically removed from the product bundle

I spent an entire week getting a product page ready, only to have the bottleneck chokepoint be that I can't offer this product as a subscription due to the Bundle app. NOWHERE was it mentioned that I couldn't make subscriptions with it.

Very disappointed wit this app, and Shopify knows it can do so much better. Can't manual add a bundle to an order, and there's no way to display the bundle items on product page or even have the bundle show on google channell. The app was not thought out properly.

This app calculated a product price that was HIGHER than all the combined component parts. It also didn't pull in a calculated cost per item, which will have impacts on my cost of goods sold reporting. The solution offered to these was to either manually calculate/update it myself or pay for an inventory manage system. Both are unacceptable solutions - the correct solution is that the app should work properly. I'm not sure how this was released with such basic errors. Given that Shopify is now a system of record for accounting/taxes, such errors are required to be fixed otherwise merchants will legally be offside and may not realize it.

This is really poor quality, even for a minimum viable product. For a product that's been in market for 6+ months? It's unacceptable. I'm not sure who at Shopify HQ is okay'ing the release of products, but this has to stop.

Time is finite. Wasted time has a cost and for merchants that means less marketing/less refinement/less content, which has a financial cost for both the merchant and Shopify.

Seriously, do better.

So this was rolled out in the SHOPIFY EDITIONS SUMMER 2023! Extravaganza, and shocker, it doesn't work. It is not compatible with our Shopify Plus store and support cannot provide any viable reasons why it is not working. Shopify, please please please make sure the apps are working and compatible with a majority of your customer's store before rolling out and announcing.
