Very basic app. Needs to support 0 quantity of the products in the bundle (when using "quantity as an option"), so that buyers can buy a base product and be able to select which accessory products to include and not include.
App does not allow to sell on channels other than 'Online Store' or 'Shop'.
It is not possible to sell products created via bundles on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google or YouTube, which despite being a use case for most users, is not explicitly listed unless you search this matter on Shopify Forums.
Even then, the case appears to have been raised to support numerous times well over a year ago with no action taken.
Unfortunately, lack of support for official shopify apps seems to be a common theme. The matter listed above makes this app redundant for our store, otherwise it would be fantastic.
Works great, but is lacking basic functionally of having options with zero quantity (optional products). Bundle options are mandatory Qty 1 or more.
This results in this app being only suitable for static bundles!
I can't believe that Shopify has no way to create bundles with optional products. This is lacking in basic funnicatonly e.g. Would you like fries with that!!!
Shopify supports answer is to buy an app that supports options.
Aside from its limited functionality, it also has known bugs that appear on random bundles.
The main issue is that some bundles show zero stock even though the underlying products have stock, which is a crucial component in a bundle app.
After spending days configuring and translating products, it's frustrating when the app stops working for certain items. It's most likely some glitch in the inventory sync and should be easily fixed. Hard to understand that Shopify can't put a developer on this for a few hours to correct it.
It works in that it can indeed bundle things together. However, the app is incompatible with Marketplace Connect so any effort you put into, say, producing quantity variant bundles can not be used to import orders from connected listings.
This is a good idea but I don't feel like it was fully executed. What's lacking for me is lack of ability to be able to manage the bundles via the API. Without that key ability, this product is useless for anyone that doesn't rely on the Shopify UI or has a flow that's outside of Shopify's Admin console.
The other key feature that this app is lacking is the ability to create bundles on the variant level. It only supports creating bundles on the Product level.
Edit: After a lot of painstaking research and documentation diving, I figured out how to control the bundle from Shopify's GraphQL; which is quite a complex undertaking in my opinion.
Much space for improvement, has limited function available.
La aplicacion es buena pero en la factura se necesita la opción que salga el Bundle completo y no los articulos desglosados. A mis clientes le crea confusión.
The app itself is great, working smoothly with Shopify and syncs the inventory with other suppliers apps, which is great.
The Orrible News is that you can only sell on the online shop, which means that is useless if you need to tag your bundle on Socials like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and we all know that without Socials is impossible to sell.
Definetly need to upgrade this!
Hi, thanks so much for your feedback on the Shopify Bundles app! We are always evaluating new feature requests for our roadmap and will certainly consider this for the future.
It is quite nice in many ways. But it has a long list of limitations and reasons why it can't be used - such as incompatibility with subscription products.
