Shopify Counter

Review from ColorMeCarole helped me bc I was getting pissed nothing was working and the SMIIRL website has no beneficial info about this.

reposting the steps in case it goes missing or gets lost within other reviews

- Go to your Smirll account
- Switch "OPTIONS" from JSON to PUSH NUMBER.
- within these settings you'll find your "Counter ID" and "Counter Token"
- randomly input a number in the display field and hit "SAVE"
(your counter should start updating to display whichever number you inputed)

- Go back to your SHOPIFY Counter app within Shopify.
- Setup the counter with your "ID and TOKEN" numbers.
- Select "Display orders for today" and hit SAVE.

- switch to lifetime and it works solid

I can't get this to work and now our JSON connection is broken so our counters are now not working

Doesn't work. My counter was working fine, but now it doesn't work at all.

Brand new, out of the box and I think it's possessed. I chose total sales, it jumps to 10. I've had 1, so where the heck does 10 come from?! I put it on last order number and it's correct at 1001. Just sitting here trying to figure things out and the possessed box jumps from 10 to 20. Uh...? I thought this would be a neat way to celebrate sales. Maybe I'll need to write my own code to use Smiirl's API. Such a disappointment after being excited for this to arrive.

paid 300 dollar for the machine and the app is not even working, anyone knows a app that work., and this app is even make by shopify. unbelievble

it doesn't reset at the end of the day,

No clear instructions on where the token can be found on Smiirl. So after some searching and using help I found it. Only to run into continuous errors on this app when trying to save the settings. Does not work.

The new app works great, easier to manage multiple counters.

Would have been nice to get some help in the app for how to get the counter ID and token.

If you're trying to set it up, the counter ID and Token in Smiirl need to be changed to the PUSH NUMBER settings. You'll get the token and counter ID.

Gave up on it. Our counter is not that important to waste time trying to install the app. Can not easily find the "Counter ID" and "Counter Token". The app locks up in Safari and won't go section to section. It is very lagging. Never did install it. I have more important things to do. The counter was fun but this new app is not good.

Don't bother updating to the new version, doesn't work
