Very easy to use!!!! You don´t need to be an expert in code or similar... just a simple user can do it in seconds! Great job and thanks!

1. no automation
2. no option to import lists from different services
3. not feet for other languages than english (no option to translate some of the texts)
4. can't edit the footer text
5. no social media icons only links by text...
6. low amount of fonts

If you don't want to pay a LARGE monthly fee and you do not want to inundate your customer base with emails this is the way to go! I only send emails during my off-season and even then it's only one a month! So I am happy to pay their fees and not have a really high monthly cost! I would like to see a little more customization but it's still getting the point across at a great price!
Unfortunately I believed Shopify's marketing and thought this was a great free (or certainly very cheap) alternative to mailchimp, omnisend etc. It's not. It was clearly programmed on the fly and it is totally unsuitable for a modern store which uses multichannel marketing or sales. Online instructions are useless and most support people do not understand this app.
The BIGGEST problem is that you can only send emails to customers who have subscribed on the Shopify store. You can import customers from other email marketing databases (or your old Shopify store which you replaced with a new one) but Shopify email wont let you send emails to them because they didn't subscribe on this exact store. No doubt they will blame GDPR rules but everything I did was in compliance. In reality they probably cant be bothered to build something decent (which is a massive shame because I would have paid for it!).
I have just wasted a full 2 weeks moving from Omnisend to Shopify email. When emails wouldn't send Shopify blamed bouncebacks so I spent money and time cleaning a pretty clean database, then they blamed something else. Eventually someone actually understood the product, took a proper look at the screenshots I sent and told me the truth. It took 2 weeks during which time I launched a new product and didn't fully market it. Now I will have to subscribe with Omnisend again. Shopify could not care less.
Don't go near this product with a long barge pole if you are used to using a quality email marketing platform.
I don't know about you but the Shopify of old where they cared about their customers and couldn't wait to understand and meet customer requirements seems a very long time ago.

App is really easy to use and really convenient since it was in the Shopify marketing. BUT it is an awful app to use if you have timed email exclusive sales with limited quantities and a high volume of customers. We launched our email at 10 AM and 1 hour later it notified us that it failed to email 95% of our customers 'due to a high bounce rate, usually because subscriber email addresses were not valid.' Out of nearly 10,000 email subscribers. We do not have this issue with our current emailing app. If you have multiple variants, you are unable to change the price to the correct variant in stock. Also the emails are very bland, but that wasn't a main issue.

This is the first time I have used it and I like the ease and speed that I can communicate with my customers. I'm a spoiled MailChimp user, but at times I need something easy and integrated to use in addition. Looking forward to future growth and open to switching all my email if the results are good.
I'm glad Shopify finally came out with email service! I have been able to replace my basic Omnisend account. However, Shopify needs to add the ability to create welcome/flow/automatic emails in order to compete with real email services. Please add it soon!
I love the pre-drafted email campaigns. They have given me good ideas and I only have to modify them slightly. I love the email templates with product sections and the ability to add bold eye catching colors in the background. The analytics coming back via reporting is very helpful. I wish it was a little less labour intensive to quickly go in and make a modification to the email body without having to reschedule the campaign again. It is like starting over and is inefficient. There are always tweaks that you think of after you have scheduled the email and it is waiting in the pipeline or I may think of going back in to tweak a deal we are offering etc. so a little more flexibility to do that would be very helpful. Also, it would be extremely helpful to be able to delete a customer group as my groups are getting a bit cluttered and I made some blunders when I first started using these so would be nice to be able to clean them up and also order/sort them. It seems functional enough, but the editability of the email body is subpar. I would love to be able to use it but I do not want to sacrifice the look of the email for something a bit more integrated. I cannot even add 2 columns to the thing. Using it would make my life so much easier seeing as we send out weekly emails updating customers on what products got moved into the sale collection. But we sell small products and having 7 big images that take up the full width is beyond excessive.

Doesn't support RTL languages. They told me they will develop it at future. I hope sor.......................
