Shopify email has saved us a ton of money and the pricing is upfront and clear to understand. That being said, I would like some more robust analytics to filter how each automated campaign is dong. I have to do some more leg work to get the data I want vs. Klaviyo, but the savings are what matters when running a business and the interface is much easier to use on the front end and pretty much does the bulk of what other service providers offer. I'm confident Shopify will continue to make their email capabilities more robust as it evolves. I'm always open to help in building these out from my perspective should they reach out.
Would love the ability to include more than one segment and possible an exclusion list to ensure I'm excluding a specific segment from email campaigns.
Now that my store is not getting shut down every other day i am learning how to manage my own admin backend changes. The AI helps with that , many of the instructions do not have accurate step by step instructions the screens have changed.
However I love the speed in which i can make a change and publish it right away. I love the product features just learned how to create forms, overall i like the ease of working with the application.
I like the assortment of templates offered as a starting place. Today, I put together my first email campaign using Shopify Email. I hope it does well. The style is a lot different from what we typically send from our 3rd party email service. It would have been nice to have more flexibility to move content block around within the template and center some of the left justified elements. Maybe that's all possible and I just didn't see how. Overall, it was a good first experience and motivating to spend time learning more of Shopify Email's capabilities.
I love using it, very simple. But I do wish I could sort through my emails by draft or not. I have some drafts that have gotten lost in the mix of emails that have been sent and emails that are scheduled. I would love to be able to sort by status.
Not bad somewhat user friendly and adaptable, I wish there was more templates to chose from and it can get finicky when updating and editing but it works pretty well and ends up looking really nice once you get the hang of it!!
It's great, but my biggest issue is that I don't have the option to display my emails based on their title, and not the subject line. I have several workflows that use the same or similar subjects so it's impossible to tell them apart without opening them. Would be great to have the option (or even make Title default over Subject). That is how MailChimp does it.

It's pretty simple to use if you need to customize a template. I'm still learning about the available features but so far so good with testing. One issue was the spacers in the template I used didn't look as good on an iPhone as they did on an iPad.
This has been the easiest part of my Shopify setup so far–super intuitive, great pre-set options. Only thing I would improve is setting your brand colour defaults for all emails automatically.
Easy to use; would be great if the editing was not so "clunky". A better word editor would make this sparkle.
