I used the app for the first time today. I found it was very easy to use and satisfied my needs for my first project. Im looking forward to more templates and functionality as the app progresses. So far, very happy
Amazing app. Saves us alot of money versus using something like mailchimp. Wish there was a way to add emails via HTML only.

was using paid email Apps before but this is Shopify Original App and you can't go wrong with this App, a Happy Store Owner.

I love this app. I makes marketing so much easier. Just a click of a button and all your fonts, logos, and colors are all there. Choose a template you feel is right and bam! You’re all set!
The app itself is easy to use and gets the job done. However since we do customisation, a personalised product image is created before the client is about to place an order.
In other abandoned cart apps, like Klaviyo, this customised image can be sent to the client (instead of the regular product image), so they are more likely to recover their cart.
Shopify Email does not. While Shopify support told is this is possible, "we just need to manually code it ourselves", we went ahead and paid a developer to code it for us, only to find out it does not allow us to pull this customised image.
So we spent hours setting up our flows, paid a developer a hefty sum to set up the customised product picture integration, only to find out it doesn't work. Great. Thanks Shopify.

it's ok... shopify charges alot though makes it hard a business to succeed. If shopify cut down some costs it will be better thanks

This is a great app. It allows e-mails to be built and sent to customers with ease. It even lets you send a test e-mail out and review the e-mail before it is sent.
It would be great however if the following features were added:
1. The ability to add hyperlinks in the text sections
2. Being able to add a single line separator instead of having to use multiple underscores
3. Having the capability to add multiple products in one line (instead of just one large product)
4. Having the font size scale down in the mobile to match the way it looks on a desktop.
I just started looking into the email app and I setup the New Arrivals template. Looks fine on PC, but the mobile version is really bad. Narrow columns of text with words broken up. How can a seller be expected to send that to a customer?
Am I missing something?

Easy to use, but I'm not gonna lie, the customization options are horrible and very limited. There's no way to make your campaigns eye-catching, and they always turn out looking incredibly dull because of the rigid personalization features. It's very blocky. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a newsletter, especially when it's supposed to draw customers in. It just comes off looking very cheap.
